Probably the worst subway I have been to. The only subway where I asked if they can add a little bit more spinach and they refused. Ordered before lunch rush even would start and they ran out of sauce for my sandwich.?‍♂️

Last time I went there only one person was working and she didn’t speak a word of English. She literally understood nothing. Luckily the guy behind me in line finally decided to help me translate to Spanish but I’ll never come here again. I don’t understand how you hire someone for a job that requires you to speak to customers in the U.S. when they can’t even speak English.

Ordered delivery via Subway app. Subway forgot to include some items, when I called this store (who made the order) they said they can't help and to contact doordash - even after explaining it was the subway app was told I must be wrong the app doesn't allow you to place orders and no help to refund the missing items - had to issue a chargeback via my bank to resolve :(

Wow have things improved at this Subway! I hadn't been there in a year and started going back recently and have been pleasantly surprised. The bread and veggies are fresher and the service is great! I particularly want to highlight Slendy. She always remembers my order, has a smile and makes the ordering process super easy. Thanks Slendy. You rock!

I went in today at 1pm all I did was ask if I can substitute a meat for a different meat, I asked "if you get turkey and ham and if I don't want ham can I replace it for extra turkey?" She unprofessionally told me " I don't think we can do that" I was extremely confused as to why a sandwich shop can't substitute my meat, because obviously you can, the worker was just uneducated and poorly trained.

Absolutely horrible experience. They hide in the back and don't know when a customer arrives. Lots of mistakes made making the sandwiches, and when done it looks like it was stomped on.

As others have said, this location isn’t run very well. It’s always hot inside? And prices are very high for what you get? Better to go to Togo’s or Jersey Mike’s something else around.

Absolutely shitty customer service. The girl making the sandwiches doesn't want to be there. She put 3 slices of tomato on a foot long and refused to put more when asked. Whoever owns this place probably doesn't care either seeing the bad reviews here. AVOID going here.

Horrible location. Out of all subways in Santa Cruz, this ones the most slacking. Last time I came here the employees were watching videos on their phone laughing in the back, and after a half hour of asking to be helped and being told just a moment, they finally served me. But yet made my sandwich completely wrong then refused to remake it as they were back on their phones. Today I placed an online order since I only had a 30 min lunch, got there to find they were not only slacking again but my order I placed 15 mins before my lunch wasn’t even done yet. Now I have 5 mins of my lunch left and it still isn’t made. If U want a good correctly made sandwhich within reasonable time, I would suggest any other subway in Santa Cruz. The mission st location, it’s just a waste of everybody’s time and money. And honestly the employees are just getting paid to ruin subways reputation.now that I’ve asked to speak with the manager to get a refund on food I never got they’re Asking me to leave, practically stealing my money.
