The line is always long during the afternoons and now I know why. These tater twists are incredible, crunchy and savory. You can choose from multiple flavors to add and then add chili or lime toppings over on the left hand side of the building. It's fun to see them make these twists through the window. Staff was very friendly, definitely worth the wait.

That imagery had me overhyped. I was so pulled in by the tempting image of a golden, skewered potato that I didn't have the sense to wait until after someone in my party had ordered theirs to see if I really wanted it. Instead, I ran to the counter to place my order and waited for the satisfying taste to be all mine. It never came. What came instead was a super "meh" moment with me and this damn lackluster, bland skewer that I had to dust with my own flavoring. If you've ever seen that Boondocks episode where the Freemans visit the movies and Robert Freeman is asked to butter his own popcorn, you know how I felt. I did NOT want to butter my own popcorn! Alas, I had to. So I dusted this parmesan concoction on there and prayed. My prayer did not help. Everyone in my party who got one agreed we had been tricked. Don't be a sucka, steer clear.

Oh my lord, these are just perfect. Some people might not agree, but this crispy, potato-y goodness is by far the BEST snack at the boardwalk. Imagine getting these perfect potato treats with a crispy, greasy texture, and then getting some hot sauce or some cheddar powder and then just drowning it in that for the perfect lunch. Highly recommended. The horchata is delicious, too!

Old, cold & overcooked twists. They were gross! Like eating potato cardboard chips. The flavor station which is supposed to have different flavored seasonings and sauces was a filthy mess. Most of the sauces were empty. The powdered seasoning jars were dirty & disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs!

After being in line for almost 40 min, they told me they don't have Jamaica drink! They couldn't post a sign or announced it to the customers in line?! What a bad service! I didn't even want to order anything else. That's all I lined up for! Aarrrgh!!!

These were horrible. Bland and you have shakers that you shake powder on after their done. Then they didn't even have parmesan garlic which I told the person who took my order I wanted. If I heard they didn't have it I wouldn't have wasted my money on it.

The tater twists were cold when we got them. They display to you that they are making them from fresh potato but the twist you get might not be that freshly made. We took it with parmesan garlic seasoning. Couldn't take the garlic. The nacho cheese was frozen. The hot sauce was not spicy. Very Disappointed with the food !! Service was quick and efficient.

Appearance can be deceiving and Tater twists falls right into that category. The spiral-cut sTarchy food on a stick had zero flavor and lacked salt. Our potato on a stick was warm and dry. Additional condiments are available on the side but anything powdery would not coat the potato stick due to poor adhesion. Avoid at all costs!

Meh I personally think it's a hit or miss. I grabbed a swirl in the morning, approx. one hour after they opened and my swirl was pretty stale.. It was quite cold and there were limited seasoning. Mind the seagulls if you plan on eating it on the beach.. They will swarm and chase you.. haha. Staff are friendly and it's a fast process since they made a bulk quantity amount of it. I wouldn't get it here again.. I rather go head over to another booth and grab something else to eat.

A must have snack for us when we go to the boardwalk! Tater Twists are a deep fried, delicious and crispy delight. They remind me of fresh, thick cut potato chips. I love the flavor station where you can add various powdered seasonings and of course, hot sauce...bomb!!! They're a little pricey for a fried potato...$5.50 but that's what you have to expect at an amusement park. And they are really good so no complaints from me!

Great for a quick snack at the Boardwalk. I was there on a Sunday and there was a long line but it moved quite fast. The tater twist was quite good. Lightly crisp and moist. There is also a sauce station.

Fried potato on a stick is one of my topmost favorite fair/street style snacks. Unfortunately, Tater Twists failed to deliver. $7.50 for one over-fried and burnt tasting potato on a stick was a real bummer. My potato felt as hard as a potato chip, and that's not how fried potato on a stick is supposed to be. They should have the texture of french fries, albeit in a different shape (long potato ribbon). There is a small counter to the side of the food stand that houses a selection of different flavored powders to season your potato. I tried a few - sour cream, cayenne pepper, cheddar cheese, and parmesan garlic. They're all salty, though I'll point out that the cayenne pepper is really hot and the cheddar cheese is a neon orange color that doesn't taste similar to any finger-licking potato chip cheese powder. Alas, the burnt taste was unmistakably apparent and no amount of flavored powders could hide that.
