The food here is absolutely perfection. The menu has a few appetizers, two or three entrees and two or three desserts and changes. The tables are close together and the space is a bit noisy but the service is excellent and as I said the food is the best I've ever had in Santa Cruz. It was truly superb.

Food was tasty but portion sizes are way too small for the price. I had the chicken which was $26 & the most expensive item on the menu for lunch. I was shocked to see 4 small pieces of chicken (4 ice cube size-ish) which is probably 2.5-3oz total. Really wanted to love this place but I left hungry and I felt ripped off. I’m so sorry! Will not be back.

Absolutely amazing experience! The chef has a small but outstanding and creative locally sourced menu. Everything we ate was outstanding and so fresh! Hot fresh made sourdough bread, delicious salads, fantastic homemade pasta with creative corn and hot pepper sauce. Great desserts too and wonderful service. Women owned and run too:) This is a MUST go!

We stopped in for a rest while waiting to pick up our late night skater. Impressed with the opportunity to try the wines and found a perfect pairing to go with the rhubarb crumble. Both exceptional. We were late arrivals right, before closing but felt incredibly welcomed rather than rushed.

The dish: Albacore tuna crudo w plum, pickled Manzano chile, sorrel, sesame and a light drizzle of a delicious oil.
Ordered some of their house made sourdough toast, but only used it to lap up the leftover goodness. Lovely wine list! Started with a glass of the Birichino Pet-Nat. ?Finished with a glass of Orixe’s Nebola. Gorgeous. All of it. Excellent service as well.

Each week the menu is completely different based on what's fresh and interesting...
