I have been a supporter of this establishment for years!!! HOWEVER, Extremely disappointed by the BLATANT disrespect and dishonesty to me and my colleagues by the “chef” Jorge. He was rude, snappy and quite frankly, I felt attacked. When I inquired about the rules of the special “bottomless mimosas” he backtracked on what was initially promised at the time it ended. If i’m a loyal patron and was treated this way by ONE WORKER (everyone else I had the pleasure of encountering was so nice) I just believe it is unfair and this behavior should NOT go unnoticed. I hope to have better treatment in the future especially about the money I SPEND and what is “PROMISED”!!! Thank you.

If you're gonna run an old school, run down pizza place at least keep the prices old school. I got two pieces of pizza and a pasta. The total came to 28 dollars. The pizza is really not great, tiny slices and low quality; I've had better pizza at roller-rinks. The pasta and salad were pretty good but were also really small and not worth the money. Don't trust the UCSC kids repping their cheap shirts.

Such amazing service!!. Maddy was our host and she did everything possible to make us feel at home. Haven't experienced customer service like this in a long time. Not to mention the pizza we ordered was fantastic. Everything was so good, we had to come back a 2nd day in a row. Upper Crust is lucky to have someone on their staff like Maddy!! The next time we visit Santa Cruz, we known where we'll be going.

I love family owned businesses and I love Italian food. This place has both!! I tried the ranch bbq chicken and Sicily’s mt etna pizzas and cannolis (big appetite haha). Everything was absolutely fantastic. Their house made ranch is to die for. I can’t wait to come back and try their pasta and fries!! Nick, the owner, is also super kind and friendly!!!

Upper Crust truly has unmatched pizza and service. Their crust is omg ? the cannolis ?. They are an iconic part of Santa Cruz and the hearts of the people that run it are one of the many reasons Santa Cruz is such a beloved place. It’s worth the visit!

We found this store by a chance. Sicillan pizze is very good
We ordered veggie, pesto, and meet pieces.
Lunch special is only $10.50 with 2slices and drink.
I will come again.

Great westside legend spot. Still the same pizza by the slice. Good based on time in window warmer. Fresh pizza thick square crust great.
