Verve was recommended to me by a friend for our quick Santa Cruz trip, and wow it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, and all of the team members were so kind. I got the Missile, coconut chia pudding, and matcha white chocolate cookie. Not a single complaint about any items. The Missile is very similar to a Vietnamese iced coffee—very strong and sweet, and so smooth! The coconut chia pudding was absolutely the best chia pudding I’ve ever had, and the granola was crunchy and fresh. The matcha white chocolate cookie was divine, not too sweet, and just the right amount of matcha. I’ll definitely be recommending and returning during future visits!

Nice hip hop coffee shop in the heart of Santa Cruz. They have unique coffee flavors and the ones we tried were spot on. Came here on a Sunday morning and it was packed. No pre-heat food as everything is made fresh. their Avocado Toast was larger than life and excellent pairing to the coffee. Definitely a repeat!

We ordered the lavender honey draft latte and it cost almost $7 and took 15 minutes to arrive and I had to remind the barista about my order because it wasn't started yet. It's a cute atmosphere with plants and modern decor but the coffee was very weak and didn't taste at all like lavender or honey.

Well, I've left a 1 star, then a 2 star review, now 4+. Coffee and decor is great. As for service, they would smile and decline a particular request about heating pastry. In Bali, no problem. In Berlin, shrug. Anyway, am drinking Verve's light roast Ethiopian, which is on point. Sometimes the music is too loud for conversation. But, bonus points for two bathrooms. So, rounding up.

Worse coffee experience, it was almost closing time and I did ask for a pour over coffee single origin the lady said she don't have single origin and will make a house blend I said ok and the the end they call my name and they did a espresso instead of pour over and l asked why the barista guy said they don't do pour over after 5:30 instead of excuse or refund they do offer hot water for americano..
