Very disappointed with our server today!
Christina was awesome and made the experience delightful and delicious.
Tasting great wines with the charms and personality of Christina made for a super fun time! The hidden gem of Santa Margarita!! Thanks ?
The food served here is outstanding and worth the trip alone. The quality you get doesn't match how cheap the price is, it's a phenomenal food pairing experience if you are up for it. The food options and the Cab Franc has me locked down as a wine club member.
A couple of the reds were decent but didn't really care for the sparkler or the chardonnay. And like someone else said don't come here if you are in a hurry. The food looked good.
Absolutely beautiful place! Food was delicious.
Christina and Suzy were great at this place!! Great food and great wine, my first time was a blast??
Always the best time here, whether celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a wine tasting experience.... The staff does a great job introducing the wine(s) to new guests, and they greet longtime members by name. It's difficult to choose a favorite item from the Cafe menu, and the wines are hard to beat.
We bought a bottle of Ancient Peak at store in Cambria. We enjoyed it so much we decided to visit and do a tasting. It's winery and cafe which was nice since we had our teen with us. We sat on the patio and enjoyed lunch and wine. It is right off the road so it was easy to find. The patio is shaded and has private fencing. Savannah was very attentive and knowledgeable. The wine tasting menu is unique as it has which kind of soil each wine is grown in with the descriptions. They have a lot of wine for purchase with many price points. We bought a rose', some whites, and a Cabernet Sauvignon. We don't usually buy Rose' but it is perfect for the warm summer. The food is elevated. We shared a Fig/Brie Burger and our son had the tri trip sandwich. All of it including the fries were items we would order again.
Looking for something to do on our way back to our campground and we found Ancient Peaks - what a great find! Some delicious wines, especially their Pearl Cab Sauv, and we really enjoyed our delightful wine educator, Katie! Highly recommend a visit!

We stopped here for a wine tasting before our zip line adventure across the street. We enjoyed the wine and food. The pace of service is relaxed so don't come if you are in a hurry. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the company of your party as you indulge with good food and wine. Definitely recommend having a tasting and the charcuterie board. Wonderful place to visit!
Fantastic day. Great wine and food!
Ancient Winery is the best place to have a real good local wine tasting that is worth it.
We had the opportunity given by a combo offer from TripAdvisor: first sippin then zipping. Means wine tasting, including amazing plattern of cheese, salami, Italian ham and almonds as well as fresh baked bread. Every wine comes with a detailed, interesting explanation. After this, you'll be picked-up by a bus across the street to be taken to the Zip-lining area. As this was absolutely fun and the guides did a great job, the view over the wineyard is pretty impressive.
Will definitely do it again, if we'll ever stop by.
Outstanding wine and food. The Pearl collection is world class. Gabriel, our server, was really knowledgeable and very courteous and friendly. This was a wonderful. Highly recommend to visit.
A great venue. Try the Brie and Fig jam burger. Our favorite wine was the Oyster Ridge Red Bland. Our server, Ruby, was terrific. If I didn’t live on the other coast I’d be here far too often.
