The service was not good, there really isn't any atmosphere as this place is at the Spencer's parking lot. Yet the most important thing of, the food, is not edible. The rice was over salted, the beans were from the can, the asada was all nerve trimmings and chewy. I got the chicken tamales and the masa again tasted too processed but the chicken was raw, I had to spit it out.I'm sorry to those who eat here, this is not Mexican food I swear, save your money and go somewhere else.

Had Beth cater a large, public event yesterday and everyone could not stop talking about how delicious her tamales were. They kept asking me where I got such great food. She was great to work with too, staying within our budget, bringing us jamaica for free, and texting or calling to make sure everything would be just right. I highly recommend her catering. Orcutt-Santa Maria is lucky to have her and her food!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options (chile relleno tamales, which even some meat eaters preferred, to the pork ones). The rice and beans are vegan, but there are no other vegan options.Dietary restrictions: I believe all the tamales, as well as the rice and beans, are gluten free.

I recently tried the pork tamales and they were good . They flavor the masa so it's moist and flavorful. I was wishing there was a bit more meat filling but overall it was great. I felt $36 is a little steep for a dozen so while I enjoyed, I probably wouldn't be buying them here all the time.It's a convenient location for me so I'll probably be stopping in to try some of the other offerings as well.

I've eaten at their food truck several times and have never been disappointed. Have tried the tamales great flavor. Tacos are healthy in the amount they put in them. Nice hot salsa gets your lips tingling. Great customer service alway nice and a great smile.
We avail ourselves with Beth's OUTSTANDING and AUTHENYIC Mexican food at least once every week. I l8ve her Xaaa Birria and Hubby loves her Carne Asada Tacos. We've also enjoyed her Tamales. Service is always friendly. Her Pink Food Truck is on Skyway just E of Broadway. Beth's is a must have at least once a week.

My initial experience with Beth's was her Pork Tamales. I just happened across the delivery truck which was making a delivery at a medical office complex here in SLO. I spoke with the delivery person who told me she just happened to have extra tamales for sale so I bought a dozen Pork . I also bought some salsa. The tamales were still warm from the steamer and when I got home I dug right in! She makes the best tamales I've ever had! Store bought or homemade. My next order was a delivery to my home in SLO. I mixed it up this time with the Chili Rellano and the pork again. And more Salsa of course. Again everything was fantastic. I'm a Beth's customer for life now!

I’ve tried the Pork Tamales from here and they were delicious. I bought them right from the delivery vehicle just by chance one day. But when I attempted to order from the store directly, because the tamales were so good, it was the worst customer experience I’ve had from a delivery service in a very long time. I did not use Door Dash I dealt with the store directly. The person I dealt with with was rude and seemed to have great difficulty understanding anything I said when I tried to place my order. I just wanted a dozen tamales and salsa, no big catering order. When it came to delivery day, a half hour past the designated delivery time, I got a call from the same person and she told me she couldn’t find my address and she asked if I could come to the location she was at. I explained to her I am disabled and that I do not drive. I then cancelled my order and she hung up on me, great Tamales and Salsa, horrible Service, I’m going back to Savina’s!!!

Her communication was great leading up to the big day, she was very helpful with menu suggestions and quantities for the amount of guests we had. She set up a beautiful display for the buffet area and her service day of was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests were so thrilled to have Mexican food at our reception and my husband and I truly couldn’t think of a better first meal to enjoy together as husband and wife. I highly recommend Beth’s catering for your next event, you and your guests will be delighted!If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would! I booked Beth to cater my graduation party and it was truly phenomenal. She was very thorough over the phone while booking and was incredibly responsive and easy going when I decided a week before my party to add more to the order. The food was just to die for! My friends and family were raving about it all night. I could not recommend Beth's Tamales & Tacos enough... If you have an event, her service is superb.
