Oh, Carl’s Jr., what have you done?
You used to be tasty, you used to be fun!
The Western Bacon, a burger so grand,
Once made my taste buds clap and stand!
They’d say, “It’s like IHOP, but cheaper, you see!
A six-dollar burger for far less a fee!”
But now? Oh no! The deal’s not the same,
The price has gone up—it’s really a shame!
The burger’s still good, but oh, what a cost,
That sweet, smoky value? It’s all but lost!
So munch if you must, but heed this tale,
The bargain you loved has set out to sail.
Carl’s, oh Carl’s, bring back the past,
Give us a deal that’s built to last!
$35 for big burger, and large fry and coke for 2. Yaikes.

I waited in the drive up line for 10 minutes. I was late getting back to work. There was no apology, just excuses. If you don’t have enough employees to cover your store, at least give your customers a heads up so they can leave if they need to. Also, maybe some customer service training Is important.
Spent $8.91 on a single Western Bacon Cheeseburger extra Bbq sauce only to be served a burger that had to be 4 hours old if not older. Cold, dry bun, barely any sauce, burned, hard bacon and dried out plastic cheese! Absolutely disgusting. Shame on Santa Maria 8816 location for thinking this is acceptable.

We could smell the restroom as we entered the establishment, it smelled of rotting sewage… it was horrible.The beverage station was filthy and when looking past it the walls and ceiling were literally dripping with dark colors.This location was unsanitary and we left without ordering. We couldn’t get past the stench.

Worst Carl's Jr experience by far. I ordered 2 kids meals.. one chicken star one chicken strip. I had to repeat myself 4 times and she still ended up giving me 3 kids meals. 2 chicken strip kids meal is the name. I wasn't asking for two. And when the lady repeated it back you only mentioned 2 kids meals. So a large miscommunication on both of us. BUT I also asked for no Santa Fe sauce on my burger and you smothered the damn thing in it.Overall just not a great experience.

I went there while driving to take a family member to their surgery check in. I stopped by. I ordered my food inside 35 minutes before diner closed. I noticed they didn't ask for here or to go? When I recieved my food I noticed it was bagged. I asked for a plate so I could eat inside. The manager stated... we are going to close the Diner so no. So, I ate at the table without a plate. I then saw a party of 10 people walk up to the door, the Hispanic manager held/shut the door telling them they need to go through the drive through.They all appeared younger. They got in their car and left.The Hispanic manager then locked the door. It was 20 minutes before closing the Diner.... I asked the cashier if he was the manager on site, she claimed yes he is the only one.I then ordered another set of food items. Reason being, I will be filing a double complaint with corporate.That manager in 20 seconds of his time lost all me and my families business.He also in 5 seconds with the large crowd lost easily a few hundred dollars worth of business from the crowd. This manager needs to instantly be terminated.This happened Sept 29th. If the franchise owner would like to reach out to me, I would be more than happy to lend a hand on additional details.
