The pearls in the milk tea taste sour.
I normally love this place and it’s my usual go to. I came in about 10-15 minutes after opening time today (yeah, I know, but I was out running errands and I was really craving some Boba tea) when I walked in not only was the open sign/menu signs off, but the attendant was in the back, blasting music and didn’t even notice that I had walked in- So I was very confused on if the place was open yet or not. When she came out to the front, she seemed a little bothered to talk to me and told me the Boba wasn’t available for another 10 minutes because it was still cooling. I still love this place and I’m still going to give it my business, but I would be warry about coming in within the first 30 minutes or so because they may not be prepared for your order.
It was good and the service was outstanding the guy was so nice and was not super pricy like other Boba place with we had one in paso
There were a handful of boba places I’ve tried in the west coast but nothing beats Cha 101. This place isn’t a Gong-Cha or Xing Fu Tang but it is a wonderful place to satisfy your cravings for boba. I’m big into brewed teas and their drinks had met my expectations of what a “good boba” should be. Their staff has been the friendliest people I’ve encountered in Santa Maria.
Highly recommend their Peach Oolong tea with Lychee Jelly.
Me and my Daughter got a boba each, 2-3 hours after we started having cramps and nausea, 2 more hours we started having a vomiting contest as well as diarrhea, we end up in hospital with food poisoning due to cross contamination! So be super careful with this place!
Boba is very difficult to find in this area, so the fact that Cha 101 exists is a godsend for not only being available, but the best boba available in my opinion, topping all of the options I've tried between here and SLO! If I ever crave boba, I default to this place and wouldn't recommend anywhere else in Santa Maria. Tonight, I was met with three very sweet Filipino workers (their adjective, not mine LOL) who treated me to such a great conversation. I'd be really upset if this place had to close down due to lack of foot traffic, so I'll reiterate - IF YOU LIKE BOBA, VISIT THIS PLACE NOW! You won't be disappointed!! I'm a #certified Cha 101 defender!!! ???

My 3 year old son dropped his mango smoothie on the floor immediately after getting it and the worker Kiana was so nice about it. They cleaned it up and made him a new one. Thank you!!!!!! Our favorite boba shop in town!!!

Very nice shop. Delicious and health-ish drinks. Ask for a sheet of ingredients, calorie count and nutrients. I did and they said that they are working on it. ?

Cha 101 Boba has absolutely amazing drinks and always serves fresh boba. They have several different drinks options on the menu and they are all delicious!
I tend to gravitate towards the blended coffee drinks with regular boba and they are so delicious. The flavor is awesome and the boba is obviously freshly made. They have cute cups too.
The staff are always friendly and they are very quick at making drinks. I won't go anywhere else! Highly recommend stopping in and supporting this small business!
Parking: Free parking lot. Be careful when walking/driving through as the whole parking lot is loaded with potholes and uneven pavement.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.

If you are an Asian from the Bay Area, beware. The drinks are so sweet, at 25% my Okinawa milk tea tasted like I was drinking straight up syrup. So gross. Don’t risk it…
Their drink is not legit at all. Milk tea with 25% sugar is just like syrup drink.
