Super friendly staff! Came to Oceano dunes for Labor Day last minute and was only room available on such short notice. Not the greatest neighborhood but staff is considerate. Super clean! Not the prettiest or newest but definitely good for last minute. Had our truck loaded with a banshee and originally had an upstairs room, when the lady seen we had our truck loaded immediately came outside before we even got our things down and switched us to a downstairs room right in front of our parked truck, without us even having to ask.

Amazing old couple take care of the motel. The WiFi was fast wonderful stay and great place to stay for a quick stop during a long trip. The rooms seemed newly renovated because it smelled like fresh furniture.
The Holiday motel in Santa Maria is the worst motel I've ever stayed in. I arrived in the late afternoon. There is no reception area. You have to ring a buzzer from the parking lot area. Then, I waited a long time for a man to arrive behind a glass window. He doesn't greet me. He's rude. I inform him I have reservations. He demans "show me!" He refuses to take my name. I have to show him the confirmation on my smartphone and explain it to him. He still doesn't say anything. He pushes a reservation card for me to fillout. I finally get to the room. There are electrical wiring hanging. There are small holes in the walls. When you turn the light on in the bathroom, a VERY noisy fan turns on. There is no soup in the bathroom.
