Very nice servers but one of our family members was given a coffee mug with a lipstick stain, the waitress took it back and replaced it with a clean one. My mother ordered oatmeal with fresh fruit and was served a bowl of plain oatmeal, a cup of raisins+a cup of brown sugar, but no fruit. I ordered the crepes and they came with a pudding/custard-like filling and extremely sweet strawberry glaze. Overall I would say it was an OK experience, but I should cut them a little bit of slack because they had just opened.

The Service was atrocious and disgusting, waited 45 minutes for our food (no silverware was given we had to ask). Tables were dirty and food was bland and disgusting my Dog refused to eat it.

My mom and my son and his friend were excited to finally try the Huckleberry's in Santa Maria. We got there a little after 9. Seated right away. There was not a lot of people there at this point. Our server never came to our table. The person that seated us had to take our drink orders which came right away. Our sever came when our drinks came to get our order. Son got the chicken and waffles, his friend the pancakes and toast, mom a scramble and myself the crab cake benidect. Finally after 10:00 after seeing people that got there after us get their food asked our sever when it would be ready and she said she would look into it. When we got our food the waffles and pancakes were cold and hard. Plates were hot. Like they were just sitting there over a hot plate. Mom's plate on the bottom had food on it. Crab cakes were extremely fried. We did not eat any of it and let them know we were leaving. I am not the type of person to normally do this. Very disappointed unfortunately.

Worst place I've ever been food was freezing and hard eggs were solid and horrible I wouldn't recommend coming here ever again it was so horrible if I could give 0 stars I would. My orange juice was stale and tasted like milk. I walked out when they gave me the food. My son ordered an orange juice and they gave him a memosa. My grandmas plate had food stuck to the bottom of it and my brother had hair on his plate and food.

I ordered the 2 eggs and potatoes and toast. The food literally had no flavor. The potatoes were basically burnt and the toast wasn't even Brown . It took about 30 minutes to get my food, in a restaurant that wasn't crowded. I won't go back...

The food was terrible. And I am a very forgiving customer when it comes to restaurant service and food. Our food took forever to reach our table, and the restaurant wasn't even half-capacity. The server had to be asked multiple times to bring out tarter sauce for a friend's fish & chips. I ordered the Bananas Foster breakfast, and every item on the plate was bad. The bacon tasted rancid, the eggs were made from a powdered egg mix, the fried green tomatoes were cold and hard, and the french toast was nasty. I asked to speak with the manager, and after what seemed like an eternity, they sent the hostess (she did not have the professional demeanor of a manager) over to the table who couldn't have cared less about the food issues. Very disappointing, as it looked like a fun place to eat.

I took my mom and grandma to have breakfast for the first time at this location, we have previously have at the on in Pismo. For being a new place in Santa Maria I would have speck to see new spoons, cups, coffee mugs as you see in any new location as we are halfway with our coffee’s and food you are able to see that the utensils extremely worn out, like if they brought the old utensils from the Pismo location to the Santa Maria location. If that’s not locking down on our community. Won’t be bringing my family here again.

I believe in second and third and fourth chances when you are dining at restaurants. You never know when there's an off day or they are shortstaffed, etc. With that being said, this is the fourth time we have ordered takeout for delivery from Huckleberrys in Santa Maria. And this review is given solely on the delivery aspect of this restaurant. Each of the four times we have ordered through delivery has taken over two hours for the food to be prepared and ready for delivery. Today we ordered breakfast. The order was submitted at 10:45 took two hours before the food was ready. I completely understand restaurants coming into a town and things taking a while because they are so busy. However, this restaurant has been open for quite a while now and that is something that they should have figured out by this point. it is clearly some thing that they can't handle with the amount of customers they are serving versus the amount of staff that they have. So when they are super busy, they should shut off the delivery/takeout feature, ordering through their app, website, or even DoorDash. I've been to several other Huckleberrys and have never had this experience when ordering via delivery, or like others who are reviewing eating in person. Huckleberries is always a fun place but the experience, whether you are dining in, taking out, or expecting it to be delivered, tarnishes quite a lot when you were waiting over two hours, just for the food to be ready to take to your table or to be picked up and delivered. I think it might possibly be time for the management at that specific establishment to regroup with the staff and try different strategy for making sure orders get out in a timely manner. The food itself was good. It wasn't anything to write home about but it wasn't awful. It was lukewarm by the time it was dropped off to us. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the bacon egg and sausage meal. Portion size decent and will definitely keep you full. I'm hoping that management can rally the employees to really be more efficient with their time management in regards to the situation because the food is pretty decent for a "country kitchen "type of restaurant.

Delicious breakfast

The wait here took awhile but it was a Saturday morning and very crowded. The food was good and portions were huge you could probably share a plate. The waitress was nice and was able to accommodate our large party.

Who the hell gives someone a togo country fried steak platter for OVER $20 AND NOT GIVE THEM GRAVY. Pathetic
