The lady who serves is very rude, disastrous, she throws the food at you, she is not helpful, you ask her and she doesn't give you what you asked for, the service is very bad.

We stop here regularly when driving from the Bay Area to Atascadero to visit family. It's the kind of Mexican food I grew up eating which sadly I can't really get where I live. I'm partial to a ground beef enchilada and the tacos governador, but there are lots of good choices of course. My son is a particular fan of the carne asada. The restaurant has a very friendly and kind of festive atmosphere. They have a slew of Michelada type drinks but on a larger level. Like it's a Michelada/Bloody Mary/shrimp cocktail combo. Not for me but my husband likes to try them. Festive like I said! And of course Mexican food always keeps the whole family happy.

This place is soo good the sandwiches are really good. Tortas are amazing. The pierna torta is soft meat and the sauces they use is like no other. All their food is really good and they are pretty quick at making it as well I would highly recommend. It’s some of the best local food here I think it’s special forsure : edit I juss had this place again today. The pierna torta man… it has so much flavor and the bread was slightly toasted I feel like going and getting another one that’s how amazing this place is. I have had a lot of food in life but this is made wit fresh products and I mean the flavor of this food is beyond what you see in the pictures. They don’t do justice for the textures this torta has 2 offer I HIGHLY recommend you give it a try and you will fall in love wit it. Better than any other torta I’ve had anywhere else hands down ?? torta de pierna ain’t no competition for this place fr it’s literally a hidden gem only iykyk.

I remember this place used to be so good but I went last week and ordered two tortas asada and ham , they hardly had anything inside tasted a lot of plain bread :( especially the asada one so disappointing
Very bad service! Went to get menudo three women were just standing in the back eating. Like it was no big deal I was like umm is someone going to get my menudo? As I'm standing there watching them eat.

I have had a zillion tacos and these were the best I've tasted in a very long time. Great flavor and they had everything made very quickly. The owners Victor and Carmen were very nice and we had a great conversation. They make everything from scratch which is rare these days. I also appreciated how clean the entire restaurant was. It is super easy to jump off Broadway get a bunch of great food and either eat there in their booths or head home. Will definitely be coming back for more.
