Authentic American Chinese restaurant. Genuine Chinese, very talented cook. Lunch menu, reasonable. Extensive dinner menu. Dine in. Take out. Catering available. Located in old classic Santa Maria building, on Broadway across from Santa Maria Inn. Ample free parking. Steps, not ADA friendly. Yummy.

SATURDAY FOOD REVIEW...MAGIC DRAGON...8/30/25!\n\nToday, we met up with Zaena and Allen for lunch at the Magic Dragon Asian Cuisine, located at 800 S. Broadway, in Santa Maria. Scott and I split their Wor Wonton Soup, which had chicken dumplings, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables, and we both had their Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, which comes with a cup of soup (we chose their Egg Drop), rice, and an egg roll. I moved to this country 8 years ago from China. I wouldn't say I'm picky but non of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in CA was really good, including this one. But the service was quick and polite. Food was decent for sure but just not there. For westerners I think it is a very good Chinese restaurant for sure.
