October 29, 2023I came again. My mom really likes the molcajetes so I took her out for one. It was good, but not as great as I remembered. The shrimp were much smaller this time and not deveined. We got a small piece of queso fresco and the chile lacked 2 levels of spice. It was ridiculously loud inside so we couldn't hear our waitress. She was nice and attentive but lacked common sense for refills on drinks, table chips, and salsa. When handing us our food, we knocked down one of our drinks and she never gave us a new one until I asked for it. When I went up to pay, the 3 pieces of extra shrimp were $7, she tried charging me for a whole bucket of beer when it was only one bottle, and she charged me for 2 drinks because the one that spilled was our fault. Not happy.May 2022Atmosphere: 1 starService: 1 starFood: 0 atarNo. No good. Came in, got seated on a dirty table that still had dishes on it and no one came to clean it until we asked them to. Then they wiped down the table with glass window spray, why? 4 waitresses would just eye ball us but not even ask what kind of drinks we wanted. I got a shrimp cocktail and it was defrosted and undeveined shrimp with tomato juice, nothing special. Won't go back.
The meat was not flavored, dried, and was not a good customer service. I don't recommend this restaurant.

The food is good. The staff is friendly but after they get your order in and give you the food they forget to ask you for refills or check-in on you. The other issue I have is they only clean the tables and they leave whatever food on the floor. I get it when they are busy. You're busy but there has to be some time in between to clean the floor.

The Molcajete is pure fire loved it as authentic as it gets Mexican food. Just as good or even better than the fancy spots with an ocean view.Yes. They have all the fixings forgot to take a pic of the delicious rice, refried beans w/ queso and the handmade flour tortillas!I’m definitely coming back for more!!
