Great little diner. Lots of selection on the menu for all tastes. My first time visiting and I tried the Santa Maria Tri-tip sandwich. The roll was grilled very crispy with lots of meat. Great wait til the next time I'm in the area and try something else from the menu.
Pappy's Restaurant is like stepping back in time. From the staff to the atmosphere and decor. This is a family place and a truckers home along the road. They play old country music that takes you back to childhood and there are a million photos of cowboys and Rodeos from days gone by. The tables and booths are all comfortable seating and the staff are helpful, polite, friendly and fast.

Guys on the CB radio said that this was the best place to eat and that they fed you well. But oh my word, the turkey dinner that came out was enough to feed three people. We usually split a dinner at truck stops because they always feed you well. But this was enough for three people not just two! And it was absolutely delicious! The dinner was $20 and it was enough to feed three! Highly recommend!
