Awesome
Outstanding place to eat, but right now the hotel is remodeling so it’s all closed. All you get now is a room. Don’t expect to come here to the restaurant all closed due to construction. 5-8-24
Much better than I expected 2x in a row.
Returning 2x customer ordered the same thing. Tri tip plate and chicken strip appetizer. The chicken is a breast sliced, battered and fries old school”grandma style” which satisfied a craving that not many restaurants can hit.
The trip is decent, it’s is sliced then grilled so keep that in mind. It’s tri-tip steaks. I’m it a fan of the rice but it’s that wierd rice that my mom used to make so I’m naturally not a fan. I ordered the meat at medium which isn’t came out more on the well-done side so keep that in mind but it’s tender so I don’t really care. I treat it like a chicken strip and dunk it in the mash potatoes.
The only reason I gave it a four star is they don’t have brewed ice tea and I have to listen to the occasional drink at the bar when I check in.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn and decided to spring for the breakfast rate to keep things convenient. We had three days of breakfasts and they were all awesome! I do think part of our experience was colored by being taken care of by Tasha all three days, who was really down to earth and fun to talk to while going way past the extra mile to take care of us. The food was excellent too! We spend probably half the year in Holiday Inns and it’s so great when breakfast isn’t the usual buffet and made to order.
Recommended dishes: Tri Tip and Eggs Burrito
David the server/bartender was amazing! That was the best part of the dinning experience. Food was horrible. My salmon was raw and then way over cooked. I couldn’t even eat it. My husband ordered nachos, but wasn’t told that there was no nachos for at least a half hour. We have been going here for 3 years and it has gone way down.

Service? Closed early...waitress was a no show. Crazed bar tender...over worked...food.."can to plate"...but hot...and that's what I needed.
Ate breakfast here. Service was very slow, but it was understandable due to Christmas day.Food tasted good.
Great service and friendly staff

The staff was very nice, the old-fashioned was decent, and the western burger was up surprisingly good quality. I'm not typically expecting a great burger from a hotel restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised. The fries are also nice and crispy. It was decently priced for California as well.

The quiche was to die for and the waiter was awesome
Nice hotel bar and grill. Good drinks and friendly staff. The tri-tip sandwich was excellent. My wife and I split it with French fries and it was enough for both of us.
Better than average motel breakfast, which isn't saying much.
