I love Mexican food. Having lived the first 12 years of my life in California I of course have my favorite childhood Mexican place. Recently settling in the Central Coast of California I was expecting better eateries in the area. Let it be known, Good eateries do exist around here. You just have to look for them. Food was ok, our taquerias back in Kansas City are better. Asked for fresh jalapenos on burrito and asked 3 different times to make sure got fresh jalapenos not pickled but guess what got pickled. Burritos were luke warm not hot. So just overall avg or below.
Guerrero has the best pastor tacos in Santa Maria Orcutt in my opinion. Also the salsa bar is not for the inexperienced of heat. It is very spicy but they are labeled, so you can avoid if you can't handle the spiciness. The chili rellenos are also very tasty and can be put in a burrito and all kinds of things can be added and customized as you like it, of course it'll cost extra lol.
