I luv this place so much. But today I got a piece of wire in my menudo. And their phone is turned off and mailbox is full. I received my order through door dash. It's upsetting that they turn off their phone so I can't tell them.

Food is like homemade. Mom & Son operation. Depending on what you order, the food is good, but not excellent. Service is slow, but the waitress is very friendly. Only 1 waitress on any given day. Very busy on weekends.

Not sure what happened here. Got the wrong order at the drive up window. Ordered a cali burrito, and got shredded beef and potatoes I’m guessing. Not a bad burrito, but not what I ordered. Asked for a side of hot sauce, and got ketchup instead..

I live down the block from Efren's and I used to think their food was really good until I tried La Coqueta. I haven't explored the whole menu yet, but so far the Chili Verde Burrito, the chili rellenos burrito, the enchiladas, torta, machaca are amazing. The staff is very friendly, especially Roger.

The Al pastor tacos are ok but nothing great, there are a lot of good taco shops in Santa maria and this one just doesn't shine through!
