Not sure how The A Street Cafe has 4.5 stars. The atmosphere was that of a used furniture store... tables were mismatched and wonky. The restrooms were VERY dirty and smelled horrendous. The food was mediocre.... Their saving grace was the young woman serving; she was very nice and had a warm personality.

This place is great!! Runned by VTC, disability ENTERPRISES. THE Mushroom Ravioli was, GREAT!! HOMEMADE Alfredo sauce. Salad, so fresh. All bread muffins are from EDNA'S! PRETTY, much everything is HOMEMADE. LENTIL, soup is all homemade. Very quaint, clean. Was impressed. Breakfast is very BUSY!! HAVE, take and go!! Really, recommend!! Great service.!!

If you're having a bad day you'll leave full and smiling! I enjoy meals here a few times a week. Wonderful breakfast and lunch from the Meat Lovers omelet to the Cobb Salad. Great service with a Smile! Great place to meet friends for a meal too! I also enjoy watching the planes leaving the airport. Buy a t-shirt cause it's the Best part of your day!!

A great place to have breakfast or lunch. The decor is like being at grandma's house. Nice old tables and comfortable. Service is outstanding and best of all the food is good and reasonable. Try it, you'll be back!

In addition to the good service and good food that they provide, VTC does a good job of helping people with disabilities, including hiring them to work at this restaurant. We have a group of Christian men who met there on Thursday mornings. They take very good care of us.

We came in here for a Chamber meeting at the last minute, due to some mixup at our usual place, and the staff were gracious and professional in accommodating our large party of about 20.The coffee is always fresh and hot, bacon is thick and meaty, everything is made from scratch; and prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly, unobtrusive, and very efficient, we hardly knew our server was going around taking orders and pouring coffee!

Great American comfort food at reasonable prices. A bit of a drive from central Santa Maria though worth it.

Sweet, off the beaten path type of place. Located in an industrial area next to the airport, it has an airport cafe vibe. The menu is straight forward and has everything you want for a good, hearty breakfast and or lunch. Jeff had the meat lovers omelette, with hash browns and toast. He was very satisfied. I had the cinnamon French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. I was not disappointed. Helpful service and lots of seating. I love that they have a to-go area with a refrigerated case of sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Can't wait to come back when the weather gets colder for there soups.

Love the portions of the meals, and they have the best gravy that I've had in a long time!

I wanted to like this place because vtc helps some people, but I asked for everything well done, and they didnt know what that was. $17 for a greasy burger and limp fries. Their coffee was just ok. I might give them one more shot.

I had excellent service, as usual, everyone working there is so nice. Had the 2vegg breakfast which was very good and priced well. I love the atmosphere there and the view of the hills out of the big windows is very relaxing. I'll be back!
