I had an appointment in this area and needed a quick bite. The prices were really good and the food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. The cafe itself was very clean and perfect for the area. I will be back for sure if I'm in this area again

If you are looking for a delicious bite and a friendly atmosphere Moxie Cafe is your place!!! I stopped by Moxie when I was in town and I have to say my entire experience was AMAZING!!! The cashier, Melissa, was extremely polite and professional. She even assisted me with choosing my item and I was NOT disappointed. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town again and would highly recommend Moxie Cafe! Go see for yourself, I promise you'll be in for a treat!!

Went in during their lunch hours, we ordered two salads, they really didn't appear to be busy and our meal took quite awhile. Scanning my receipt I saw that it had been 25 minutes since they rang me up. When I went to check on my order, they asked me my name and then couldn't find my meal. They asked me what I had ordered and promised to make it in 30 seconds. When it was ready and they called my name I asked why it had taken so long, as they hadn't seemed slammed, I was told they received a lot of online orders and mine was behind them. I dunno, the online pickup rack had 2 bags on it. Both our salads arrived with "super chilled chicken" I'm guessing straight from the refrigerator. The bummer was I had taken someone there for the first time and talked the Moxie up. :-( And even though I ordered at a counter and picked up at a counter, I tipped 20% up front at the register. Dine here at your own risk.

The staff is friendly and the ice tea bar is delicious but unfortunately the food is so inconsistent. On a good day the food is okay but even after giving the place a few chances it hasn't gotten much better. My friend and I ordered the same salad a few minutes apart without substitutions and both salads were very different sizes and had different items on them when we got them (one had avocado, one had left it off, etc.). I also haven't had great luck with the quality of their chicken. It sounds like a lot of people love this place so I may have just had bad luck but there are some really great places in Santa Maria that it's hard to justify giving this one yet another go. I love that they are trying to provide healthy options and the idea of offering fresh fruit as a side is a good one, but unfortunately when I got this option it had to be thrown away since the fruit had gone bad.

The moxie cafe is the best lunch restaurant in Santa Maria. The theme of the cafe is air craft themed. Personally i find that very unique and beautiful. The second you enter you get a whole different vibe than any other restaurant. The Moxie cafe has a variety of food. Each of the food is made deliciously and you can visual see the effort put into it. If you're vegan, they got you covered with delicious vegan food. The Moxie Cafe is unique and amazing as it seems and taste.

Overly expensive for the quantity of food. Is not worth your wait, also if you decide to sit outside you better off order you food before you go outside, I was mention that someone will come over and take your order, I waited for at least 10 minutes no show, when I walked inside the restaurant again the front desk lady was jist standing there like she never saw me. For me it was my first time and it will be my last time I rather spend my 35.00 somewhere else

I love coming to Moxie, all my interactions with the new employees and Angela have always been positive. I saw a new employee(Laurie), maybe having a bad day, asked regarding an item that used to be on their menu the eggplant veggie sandwich (BTW you need to bring back) and she was very rude. Well I let it go, but the whole interaction continued being rude. Anyhow, maybe had a bad day but still off since all interactions have been great. The pulled pork jackfruit sandwich was not good. Tuscan chicken great, and the Bodacious BLTA a must.

This place was brilliant. We arrived as soon as they opened. Loved my Portuguese Scramble. The skillet was excellent. Clean eating. The salsa heightened the whole experience. Loved the decor and overall vibe.

Really good sandwiches. I was impressed with how good they were. The only downfall was they were short handed. We waited a long time to order but we were compensated with some refreshments. Good job on making it right. Will go back more often.

I have tried to give this place a chance for a few years now, before wanting to leave this review. This business is so inconsistent, it's actually sad. It's a beautiful building, the staff is nice, but this place is horrible more than half the times I have been in for food. The food seems to be cold often, like it's been sitting. If you don't order ahead before arriving there is a slim chance you will get if before 30mins. It's a shame because this restaurant has so much potential, wasted.
