It was extremely busy at the Pantry, our server Anthony Rock it. Very kind, helpful and never left us dried for thirst.! The food was excellent and the price was not bad for 3 adults and 3 children. Thank you Anthony you were Awesome.

What stopped me from giving a 5 star is the wait although the food is great the waiting time feels like forever not only did I wait to sit down but the food also took awhile but everything looks great .

Food no flavor, poorly seasoned, our waitress talked/chatting more with manager(Female/glasses/usually in front of the house) than with her assigned tables. Waitress seemed overwhelmed and flustered; Quality of food, poor; has-brown were swimming in oil. Coffee only came around once, in a period of 1.15hr. Just a few tables down had coffee 3-4 times, but unfortunately it was not our assigned waitress. Sorry to leave this negative review, but our family and friends will continue to go elsewhere.

The food wasn't bad for a diner. I got the chicken fried steak. It was a little too greasy and oil tasting.. the server was pretty friendly and refilled the coffee often. The restaurant is pretty clean overall.

Food is incredible. Regretfully, service is dependent upon the server and unfortunately the time of day you go. Came in around 2:00pm. Servers were too busy doing their closing duties in the back, and never bothered to check up on us. Some were in eyes view, but leaning against the counter on their phones. Coffee needed refilling and water as well. (The coffee cups are small) I would encourage the servers to remember that service doesn't end once you drop off the food at the table. I like to use the "2 Bites, 2 Sips, 2 Minutes" rule. Also a visual walk around every ten minutes or so to see if drinks need refilling. I'm such an advocate of tipping 20% or more, but it's service such as this, that makes me want to draw a zero through the tip suggestion line. I'm not sure why I'm less important than the guest that came in at 10am.

Wonderful place in Santa Maria. We were passing through and needed to eat. It a little bit away from the 101 but worth the detour.You can definitely see how the locals love this place.
