I actually like this place a lot and come somewhat often, but I'm very disappointed with service tonight. I was charged for 3 extra ranch cups which I did not receive, I received the same amount of ranch cups which come with the foods I ordered (I know because I almost always order the same thing). One of the ranch cups was also spilled all over the bag inside. Normally this place is great so idk what happened tonight. I hope next time is better again.

Found out about this place 2 weeks ago. I've been here 4 times since then. I've had the chilli cheese fries, fat boy fries, western burger, and mushroominator. All of them were really good. Good food at a reasonable price. Takes a while to get your food but that's because they make it to order. The girl who takes your order could be more... energetic? ... welcoming? but the cooks who deliver your food have always been super cool. I'll definitely be back again.

The place is very small in size and the food is very big in flavor!!! Big portions, good quality.Just a few tables inside, it is better to take out. The order is taken and they start working right away on it...the people there are pleasant, polite and efficient. Last time there was a wait, it crowds fast at certain times, this time we had no one in front of us...a rare occasion!This is the second time we drive from Templeton to Santa Maria, just to eat here. Do I need to say more?

I just told my wife it's worth the drive from Morro Bay just to come here. I had the Small Mafioso Fries and they were delicious! It took longer than I expected being my first time but it was well worth the wait so give yourself a little extra time. It's clean and well lit and service was prompt and friendly. Happy to trade my money for the food they're serving!
After driving 3+ hours in bumper to bumper traffic from LA on the weekend after thanksgiving, we needed to stop for a hearty meal. Thanks to Yelp we took the exit to downtown Santa Maria and looked for Tom's Takeout. It was dark already and it was hard to find (the sign wasn't lit up) so we passed right by thinking it was probably closed. I had to use the restroom so insisted on turning around and going back. So glad we did! A good sized decent and tasty burger at a very reasonable price and yummy crunchy fries. It was everything we had been waiting for! The place was sort of empty at first (7pm) but gradually more and more people came in. The locals we talked to in line said it's the best hamburger place around. Old school car culture vibes. Definitely recommend.
