I enjoyed coming to this restaurant. I flew into Santa Maria and they have a nice place to tie down your plane outside. While the downsides are that the restaurant is maybe a little run down or sparsely decorated, and it took a while to get seated, the food was excellent and the wait staff was so friendly. Just gave this star ratings, but I wanted to come back to it. Read some lukewarm reviews going 4 to 9 months back. Sorry it wasn't super at that time. I had great service and a great meal that was well prepared and came out of the kitchen in a reasonable time frame. My guess is people rotate in and out of these jobs from time to time, and you have hits and misses.

The food was decent and server was not friendly. Almost like he didn't want to be bothered. I asked for no ice in my water, he poured me a cup full of ice water at the tableside. The restaurant was empty but he walked swiftly past without checking on us. The breading was falling of the fish and lightly seasoned.
