If you want high quality meat...this is the place. We bought a 1/2 a Turkey Breast for Christmas Dinner it was moist and flavor full. Our whole family was very impressed. We have bought Tri-tip and ham from here in the past and as always they have the highest quality of meats in town.

We know that Santa Maria is the birthplace of Tri-Tip so we wanted to try their tri-tip sandwich and it was delicious!!We got it to go and they gave us BBQ sauce to dip it in and it was an amazing combo!! The meat was tender enough and tasted so good mixed with the BBQ sauce. The bread was toasted perfectly and very buttery :0)Would come back here! They also had cute decor and a clean bathroom.

Butcher was wonderful and informative however my NewYork New York was the saddest sandwich ever! Saw the post of the picture and was terribly disappointed to find it dry and missing 3/4 of the pastrami. Sad to say I won’t be going back!

The people at Woodys couldn't be nicer! Their selection is great and it has that home town feel. Their prices ARE NOT like going to Costco for a ribeye, but their meat is great. Treat yourself every once in a while and get some meat from Woody's.

Love the different selections they have. I normally buy the tri tip here and grill them myself. They have every different type of cut and steak selections. They also have all the ingredients you need to make a great Santa Maria style tri tip at home.

If you love a real sandwich.. this is your place. Soft bread, fresh veggies and delicious meat. Literally a 10/10! I would've posted a picture but I ate it .. lol paired with a clean environment and friendly staff. I would recommend!!

We were craving a good, quick bbq sandwich and we’re not disappointed! Good quality meats with amazing flavor. Next time will buy some meat from the butcher to bbq at home - quality looked top notch! Friendly service topped it off! To be clear, it’s a butcher/deli with sandwiches and a few tables if you choose to eat there.

I had no idea that Woody's made lunch sandwiches. Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed with them. I got the Italian stallion. While it did have a good variety of cold cuts, it didn't taste like anything special. However after looking at reviews I may just have to try the tri-tip sandwich, hoping for a better experience.

I happened upon Woody's Butcher Shop through Yelp & I am so glad I did. I was picking up sandwiches for a work mate before a meeting that we had in Santa Maria. Neither of us are from locals. I loved the shop. The owner Woody rang me up. He was fun to talk to and very proud of his array of meat seasonings & of course, I purchase a few of those as well as his Piggy piggy (Ham) as well as turkey sandwich. Both were INCREDIBLE! A favorite condiment, a fine deli mustard was the game changer on the Ham sandwich. It's fun to happen onto a place like this with both excellent customer service & exceptional food options. I will be back!!!!

Was driving back home to LA and wanted to stop and have some lunch, I looked up places to eat in the area, and discovered this gem! Best tri tip sandwich I've ever had! When I first walked in, I wasn't sure how good the food would be, this place is more of a deli vs a restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised, will definitely be back!!

Tri tip sandwich was nothing special it was super well over hyped!!! Not much to the sandwich flavor wasnt there and not much meat. I dont mind paying $15 but i think you should get your moneys worth. Arbys brisket sandwiches hit better!!! The pastrami sandwich was boring and that great either. Meat selection seems legit but as far as food from the kitchen, I would look elsewhere.
