Service folks didn't want to be there. They lost the ability to sit outside. The cacio e pepe is $27 and way overpriced and over salty. Lobster overcooked as well. Hopefully they can figure out what's going on.

The food at Amici's is tasty, and the setting is great for family dinners. My favorite dish was their pizza. Their pasta and arancini were okay. I have had better pasta. My primary issue is with the host. My family and I celebrated my mother's birthday. We were a party of all women, and the host made my sister uncomfortable. He suggested that she should send lewd pictures to him, and I found it incredibly inappropriate. Especially since he made the comment at the beginning of the dinner.
Amazing, warm, and welcoming. Don’t skip out on the gelato it is some of the best I’ve had, the pistachio flavor you can tell is very fresh real roasted pistachios! Very good experience.

Been going there for 20 years. First time there since Covid and forgot how much I really enjoyed not only the food but the atmosphere and particularly the wait staff. I promise you won't be that long before I return. Had a great dinner.
As delivery people, we are treated with coldness, and it feels like they don’t want us to even step inside. Sometimes, they make us wait outside for no reason. Especially the tall person with perfectly styled hair who serves wine — whenever they see us, they immediately step away from the door and redirect us to someone else. My education (Computer Engineer) and knowledge are greater than theirs, but this kind of arrogance is unacceptable. I will come as a customer, give a tip to all the staff, and I will never forget how we were treated.

Nice atmosphere, great curb appeal. Was greeted graciously by two hosts, all good. But, they only had one waiter taking care of entire room. Granted, he had a lot of bussing and host help, but he was very “short” with us with low in personality. All business. Was looking forward to a Martini to start off, to find out, no liquor license. Not his fault but his delivery of that news was a tad rude. Wasn't interested in giving us a wine list, appeared he wanted to sell by the glass, didn't want to spend time servicing us. After second glass I asked if they had a real wine list. He paused and didn't answer but went and got one. I typically spend $125-$200 on a bottle and more than one, typically, but that ship sailed. He screwed himself on an extra $30-$40, $80 in tip by not offering list. My son and his girlfriend went most of the night w/o filling water glasses, not good. Overall place is a bit expensive for experience, will probably not go back and we live in the neighborhood. I never NOT tip well no matter how the experience, he still got >25%. Just what I do.
Surprisingly underwhelming! A very lackadaisical approach to service. Pointing to a table for our party of 4 to sit, in a corner with many boxes of wine stacked. I'm usually happy to sit beside wine bottles and boxes, but not really cheap products, yikes! I expected the service to be warm and welcoming, like many Italian restaurants around Santa Monica and Brentwood. Took a while to approach the table to take only food orders, and not even hinting if we wanted to order any beverages. The atmosphere was upbeat and energetic. The food was as expected, could have been a bit warmer when served. I suspect they were short on staff possibly. I wish they'd pay more attention to service.

We love Amici. Great food and staff. One of the few places that starts with bread and dips worth the calories! It was Christmas Eve and we had a great time.
I love this restaurant - chill neighborhood vibe, always lively, excellent food and drinks. My sole w/vegetables, tricolore salad (split) and side of pasta (split) was top notch. Bottle of Veuve, Can't go wrong. The waiter and manager are Italian and super nice. Came here with 10 ladies for holiday dinner.
Terrific neighborhood gem serving authentic Italian cuisine in a lovley setting. Diego and Paolo are perfect hosts.
food was tasteless, and staff is horrible. my waiter sat down at our table.

Pasta was overcooked and mushy. The complimentary bread served at the beginning was rather stale. Service was fine. It used to be a neighborhood gem but they have had a tremendous turnover in staff and the restaurant was half empty on a Thursday evening. We won't be back and it is unfortunate as it is within walking distance of our home.
