Really enjoyed the hamburger. Couldn't decide between the sweet potato fries and truffle fries, so we had both. Thumbs up. Great atmosphere and wait staff. It wasn't crowded when we were there but I imagine it gets pretty lively. I'll definitely come back.
The burgers were delicious, the owner and staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Nice patio space. We will be back
Bacon Mac and cheez, more like 물+1% 치즈+ bacon that was beat up by dogos. Chicken Burger, you have to chew many times to taste the flavor. Everything fresh. Just order other stuff.
Atmosphere=fantastico🤌
First timers, live on other side of town but heard it was owned by Art’s Table, that had many great years & food until service slipped & they closed. We had one particularly awful experience towards the end while the entire staff chatted & ignored us at an indoor table for dinner in an empty dining room. We literally had to get up, break up the convo to ask someone if we could order.
So this review is directed to AH management. The gentleman at the bar/counter Tuesday pm was awesome, great attitude, service & made us great drinks. Great first impression.
Not great was a bare bones & unattractive side/back patio that looks like a dive bar. With that beautiful brick building, you can do better. We sat on the side patio at a dirty table, sticky plastic menus (ugh) while wait staff sat directly behind us (maybe break times?) carrying on loudly, yelling to each other as they passed by. This place has so much potential. I hope you don’t end up like Arts Table.
We had planned to eat but left & went to the Library Alehouse instead.
Tried this place for the first time today having lived nearby for 10 yrs, it’s probably the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. We had 2 beers, both served warm. Breakfast burrito, filled with plain white rice (who puts rice into a breakfast burrito?) and wrapped in one of those nasty dyed red tortillas (?!), tuna tacos so salty they were inedible, onion rings drenched in stale oil, also inedible. Won’t be returning.
Guys you are the best!!! I highly recommend! Everything absolutely everything from drinks to every dish was excellent

My friend and I are regulars here. It never disappoints. We both especially like the Mexican steak salad. The drinks are delicious. I tried the spicy pineapple margarita today. Kudos to Cynthia - for her great bartending!

Neat little bar/grill. Stopped by after an event near the pier.
I had the Tahini Rice Bowl with falafel. The rice and veggies were cooked well with the tahini adding just a bit of an edge. The falafel was tasty. My companion had an avocado caesar with chicken. She remarked that the Caesar dressing was delicious without being overwhelming.

There’s a lot not to like…
No table service. If you need anything, you have to wait in line again.
Suggested tipping starts at 18% although there’s no service.
Muffin Sandwich - dry bun, one egg, two pieces of sausage, $17
Spicy Chicken Sandwich - oily. Also, not spicy.
The chairs seem to be heavy for many of the patrons so the ambiance is screeching metal across concrete.
Ashland Hill is part of a group that owns Golden Bull. Our last meal there was marginal. I would short this company.

Ashland Hill always delivers. You order up front and take a number to your table but everything else about it feels like more of a restaurant than a fast casual experience. The back area is great, they have a great selection of beers and the food is always good. My tuna tacos were a little salty but opinions might differ - I’ve never had anything I didn’t like from their menu. Tater tots are fantastic. Would definitely recommend a visit. Also great when you’ve got kids with you.

Holy salt. The tuna tacos was more salty than a tearful abandon.
