Are you looking for a fast-casual brunch spot without the long wait times? Well, Bardonna in Santa Monica, CA, may be the place for you. There is an all-day breakfast with lots of outdoor seating. It's a quick-service restaurant, so you order first, pay for your meal, grab a number, and then they bring the food right to you. There's also free, residential parking nearby (be sure to read the signs carefully). It's also dog-friendly too!
What we ordered:
The breakfast burrito, which is one of their most popular menu items
The Chicken Pesto sandwich, you can't really go wrong with this classic.
So if you're on the westside and looking for brunch with outdoor seating, save this spot.
Came here for brunch and I’m really glad I did. The vibe is super relaxed but still feels cute and put together. I sat outside and it was such a nice way to spend the morning in Santa Monica.
I ordered a breakfast plate and a matcha latte. The food came out fresh and looked really good. Everything tasted clean and balanced, not heavy at all. The matcha was smooth and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. You can tell they use quality ingredients.
Service was friendly and easygoing. It didn’t feel rushed and the staff had good energy. It’s the kind of place where you can sit and actually enjoy your time.
Overall I would definitely come back. Perfect spot for a chill brunch with friends or even a solo morning coffee.

This one is different.
If you’re looking for a heavy, greasy breakfast burrito; this is not that. This is refined brunch energy.
The Vegan Breakfast Burrito is light, clean, and thoughtfully layered. The tofu kale scramble, truffle guacamole, shredded hashbrowns, pico, garlic aioli, and fermented chili sauce all work together in a way that feels bright and balanced. That fermented chili gives it a subtle lift I didn’t expect — and I loved that.
The Vegan Sandwich? Just as refreshing. Fresh greens, heirloom tomato, truffle avocado mash; it feels intentional.
And the Vegan Horchata Cold Brew ties it all together.
Now… brunch hours get busy. There can be a bit of a wait, and service timing can feel slower during peak hours. So if you’re in a rush, just plan ahead and give yourself time to actually enjoy it.
Overall, it’s elevated, demure brunch done well.
Four stars from me; strong concept, strong flavors, just allow for the brunch pace.

European summer vibes with cutest outdoor dining! Casual and chill all day brunch vibes. meh selection is extensive with so many choices for brunch, drinks, coffee. I have never had gourmet toasts like this before, I saw pictures of layers of soft scrambled eggs and whipped burrata and HAD to order it! There are options like with lox salmon or without. Def will be back and love the early hours! Staff is super nice, some of the best service I’ve experienced

Came here for brunch and really enjoyed it. We ordered the truffled avocado toast and the breakfast burrito and both were solid. The avocado toast was flavorful without being too heavy and the burrito was filling and comforting.
We also tried the golden milk latte and the hibiscus soda. The latte was warm and cozy and the hibiscus soda was refreshing and not too sweet. Overall a great brunch spot in Santa Monica and we would definitely come back.

Great sandwich and salads. Excellent recipes, excellent quality. Only drawback is the noise level (inside and outside). Prices are up this year.

🍵 Iced Matcha Latte - perfect and sweetened just right
☕️ Iced Tiramisu Latte - it’s tiramisu in drink form. Beautifully presented!
🖤 BLACK TRUFFLE BREAKFAST PLATE: Black truffle burrata, soft scrambled eggs, chives, sourdough toast. I love truffles! First time having it with burrata and it was amazing! Soft scrambled eggs were velvety soft. Gordon Ramsey would be proud!
🌿 HERBS N' EGGS: Lox, soft boiled egg, heirloom tomato, loaded greens mix, pickled red onion, capers, labneh, sourdough toast. I love lox and this took lox to another level with Mediterranean flavors like labneh and pickles. The jammy soft boiled eggs were perfection.

The waffles were fluffy and topped with fresh berries and a drizzle of honey. The iced Vietnamese coffee was smooth and the mimosa was crisp and refreshing. Cozy vibes, beautiful presentation, and everything tasted as good as it looked.

I met a friend here for brunch because they have both traditional and vegan options. The brunch items are also served all day. They have a cute outdoor area as well as a cozy vibe inside. We both got vegan donuts and drinks. Then I got the vegan BLTA and she had a steak bowl. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and they helped us when we had questions about the menu items. I liked my sandwich so much that I ordered another one to go for later.

Bardonna was awesome! I ordered the steak and eggs while my friend got the lox, and it was so good!
I really loved the environment of where it was at and the cute seating arrangement. It’s right on the deck of Montana Ave, and has cute patio seating. There was a good amount of people there yet it felt very calm.
The service was really nice, with great waiters and help on picking what to get at the menu. My food was amazing and was at a very reasonable price compared to what I ordered around the neighborhood and location. I also had a sea salt latte, which was very good and unique.
I’d definitely come back again!
