I love this casual brunch spot on Montana. The food is always good and it’s easy to sit and chat with people on the patio. I like that you order at the counter and then sit, easy to navigate

Very close to the ocean, this spot gives total chill, beachy vibes calm, relaxing, and just a little boujee in the best way. ✨ Th foos was Absolutely ridiculous goodin The French toast might honestly be the best I’ve ever had soft, moist, and perfectly sweet. 🤤 The Poor Man’s Breakfast? So good crispy, flavorful bacon 🥓 The matcha was on the sweeter side but so well made and super refreshing. 🍵 Service was on point too, fast, friendly, and super helpful. 10/10 spot to unwind, eat good, and enjoy the ocean breeze. 🌊💚

This place is ideal for a weekend brunch or a casual brunch any day. Their latte menu is a dream, we ordered the Marshmallow Cloud Matcha and the Matcha Affogato, and both were insanely good. For food, we got the smoked salmon platter, the waffles, and the breakfast burritos. Everything was delicious, and the portions were huge. The quality and portion sizes are super fair for the prices.
The place is spacious, and the staff is incredibly kind. My experience was a 10/10!!!!

Bardonna on Montana Ave is a neighborhood favorite with plenty to love. The menu leans fresh and creative, with excellent vegetarian options that make it easy to find something flavorful without feeling limited. Their gluten-free pastries are also a standout—proof that dietary-friendly can still be delicious.
What really sets Bardonna apart is the space itself. The large terrace out front makes it a perfect spot for brunch with friends or a relaxed family outing. It’s bright, welcoming, and has that casual buzz that makes you want to linger just a little longer.
All in all, Bardonna combines good food, thoughtful options, and a great setting—definitely one of the go-to cafés on Montana

This place has gone thru some ups and downs since Covid and the LA fires but I have to say the food is good and the staff are super nice and attentive. The baristas always make me the best matcha and make sure I'm taken care of. It's a great place for me to get some work done and have a quality breakfast burrito

I really dislike having to write this, but 9 out of 10 times my order is wrong here. Because of that, I now have to check everything before picking it up.
Management: Please consider adding a VEGAN BOWL to the menu. Every time I request no chicken or egg and ask for tofu instead, the order still comes out wrong — even though the receipt clearly shows the substitution. The staff at the counter do their part, but the order still isn’t made correctly.
On top of that, this isn’t even a place that avoids seed oils. I make an exception to eat here, but it’s just not worth it when my order is wrong almost every time.
I actually stopped coming here for a few years because of this issue, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. It’s frustrating and disappointing.

Amazing casual breakfast/ lunch spot on the trendy Montana Ave strip. There’s a great outdoor space for people watching while guzzling some of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever tasted. The Vegan horchata iced coffee is to die for, I could drink it by the gallon. Highly recommended.
This is the Avocado Eggs. I added arugula cuz it sounded yummy and I was right. 😉

The food is good but not exceptional. The service is quite slow, and the coffee is good.
