I really like it here. Local, hometown feel. You can tell people have enjoyed this place for years. But the food was just ok. Location and atmosphere the best.

The food delicious ? The philly cheese steak was one of the best I've ever tasted.
The service was quick and helpful and the atmosphere was pleasant with a good crowd enjoying the fine weather and a good thirst quenching drink.
Thought the security could be more subtle.

Dean knows his stuff! Had some really good IPAs here with Big Dean’s Burger as a recommended option. Although you could probably find better burger this one was the only one I could actually eat without fork and knife (yeah I am one of those ?).

Great sports bar by Santa Monica pier and beach. It's got a great vibe there, it's really spacious, lots of seating inside and out. Lots of screens showing different games. Prices are fairly decent, they have a lot different drinks on draught.
Every staff member there were polite and courteous apart from one barman who was obnoxious and rude.

Very nice dessert!

A magnificent place right on the beach. The food was delicious and the attention from the owner was the best of the entire stay, super attentive to everything at all times. The portions are very large, especially the salads. Incredible!

Wir haben dort gefrühstückt und für ca. $20 pro Person ein Getränk und das "Big Deans Breakfast" verzehrt. Dieses wurde in liebevoller Aufmachung auf Papptellern und mit Plastikbesteck serviert. Das Essen an sich entsprach zumindest den durchschnittlichen Anforderungen an ein Frühstück, hätte aber quantitativ deutlich üppiger ausfallen können.

Didn’t get a chance to eat here. I was stopped at the entrance by a security guard because I had a small bag of fries. All I wanted was a soft drink. Rude people, no explanation why I couldn’t get a drink. They need a change in management

He had lunch there and the waitress seemed annoyed when was taking the order, not the attitude expected from a professional.

Decent food (we had breakfast here). Main reason for 3 stars: (1) cappuccino was bad (instant cappuccino), (2) service is a bit lacking, had to ask the waiter twice to get water.
