Absolutely fantastic spot with amazing food and even better vibes! Whether you're just passing through or lucky enough to be a local, this is a must-visit. You have to try the Cacio e Pepe Fries — loaded with rich cheese sauce, freshly cracked black pepper, shaved parmesan, and a touch of honey drizzle. 🧀🍯 The combo of sweet, salty, and umami is on point and hits every craving just right. Do yourself a favor and stop by — you’ll be hooked!

Almost comical how horrible the service was. Sharing with all friends to avoid the price for customer service.

The food was decent but nothing special. Burgers were okay, but avoid the dessert, the crème brûlée was terrible and far from authentic.
Overall, the place doesn’t feel very inclusive. There are no gluten-free buns available, which feels outdated in 2025.
We asked to sit outside, and even though tables were available, we were told we could only sit inside, in an extremely noisy environment

This restaurant's vibe and service was great. Our server was quirky, and I like that. It was our first time here, so we tried a number of dishes. I think for me, the Deanie's Cornbread, Italian sausage ravioli, and glazed meatloaf were the best. You'll see in many photos, that cornbread and the butter presentation make a really great first impression to start off your evening. Adorable. I wasn't as big a fan of the stuffed kielbasa, but that's my preference because I'm not a huge fan of chorizo, and I was tasting that note. The sauce the bass came with was great, but the bass was just a smidge salty. Overall, great experience, will return again. :)

Great Food, people, and space. I’d describe it as comfort food elevated, and unique. Top notch service. Love to share pix if allowed

Fantastic meal and service to match. All dishes were great but the standout was the steak frites and the rose petal pie. The meat was perfectly seasoned and so tender, the fries were crispy, and the pie was so flavorful and not too sweet! Can’t wait to go back.

The absolute best gluten free fried chicken I’ve ever had! Great approachable vibe and the essence of “west coast comfort food”.

Great restaurant with the perfect ambiance and ok service. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Drinks are perfect too.

They charge a 4% fee for workers health insurance and the valet (which just street parks the car) is an additional $16 dollars. Just a heads up, but still a 5-star experience.

1-Our waiter was unfriendly .. didnt seem to know what exactly the restaurant could offer !! 2- A restaurant in LA .. in 2025 who does not know own an Expresso Machine !!! ( therefore which not serve you an expresso Martini nor a cappuccino !!!! 3- $9.00 for a few olives .. or almonds!! 4- $32.00 for a burger !! And one has to then purchase the fries !! And on top of that : $16.00 valet parking !! This restaurant is located in a very obscure street In Santa Monica .. close to the Freeway ..where no one would dare stroll after dinner - If I may suggest : stick to restaurants in either downtown Santa Monica , Main Street or Montana Avenue .

Delicious except the “dry aged rib eye”… as it was so so flavorless and lean. Not what I expect from a dried age or rib eye. It was 30oz for the table but I would prefer less oz and a way better result .

My heart is happy and my stomach is full
Thank you @birdiegsla @chefjeremyfox for my most
seamless & meaningful dining experience in a long time
The food was high quality, seasonal, simple yet perfectly
executed and balanced. I could sense the concepts but
nothing was over complicated.
The bar experience was awesome and the patio dining
portion too. The ambience was casual yet elegant. All the staff were knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive but not at all overbearing.
I've already booked my next visit
