Can't rate.place is still closed. A big disappointment. Before coronavirus it was a pleasant food dining experience. Maybe it will never reopen again. If so a real loss.

This us a cafe inside the library (hence the clever name). The staff are friendly, the food is surprisingly good. The menu is somewhat limited. However, this is an excellent option to eat in overcrowded and overpriced downtown Sant Monica whilst avoiding the crowds, and paying a reasonable amount.

I love this coffee shop! Run by two lovely couples who are passionate about their work and love to connect with the customers who come by. Just a great atmosphere and good energy to start your day or grab lunch. Highly recommend paninis or bulgogi bowl.

This place is possibly the best Cafe in the area hands down. When I entered the cafe, I immediately knew I found my happy place to relax and chill as the staff were super friendly and the price are vwry reasonable.

Have you been to a place that smells hot and greasy and without much ventilation, the type of place that makes you sweat even after you leave? Enter the Bookmark Cafe. Although the employees are kind and charismatic, the owner who told me she was the "owner", today charges sixty cents for hot water -- I hope she becomes rich from charging people sixty cents for water. I'd say stay away and look for many better options close by. Whatever you buy elsewhere you can still enjoy at the SMPL courtyard. As for the employees - hope you can all land jobs at places with employers with a more abundant mindset.

Sitting here with my son and enjoying every second. We just grabbed our library books. He's devouring his milk and cookie. I'm relaxing with my coffee. Jazzy background music. What a treat this place is. Definitely stop by if you are getting some library books or just need a place to unwind a bit.
