It’s crowded for a reason, but line moves fast and online ordering is easy…and honestly it would be worth it even with a long wait.

Agree with what everyone else is saying - the focaccia is next level amazing. And the BLT was so delicious - it felt like a full wedge salad in the sando.

Strongly recommend.

Bread head has amazing sandwiches! They have a variety of options all served on focaccia style breads. Sandwiches are huge, the half sandwich is plenty for me. I love the grinder & the roast beef sandwich, but all are really great. Their Arnold Palmer is so fresh it’s the perfect beverage to go with your sandwich. Highly recommend trying it!!

This place has to be a joke. I had high hopes walking in knowing I was going to Drop $30 for a full sandwich, all to get home and bite into what is basically a concrete peice of bread. Only positive is they gave me a healthy portion of avocado. Overpriced and extremely mediocre at best. Sad to say, but I think subway is actually better.

I got the Calabrian turkey sandwich which was very good but the major stand out of the sandwich is the focaccia bread. Job well done to the bakers of this bread as they are doing something right. I thought it would have been a thicker slice of bread but the size of it is just right as it doesn’t make the sandwich taste like it’s all just bread. I would like to try other sandwiches they have someday but if you are hanging out in Montana Ave/ Santa Monica area and looking for a sandwich just go here because you can’t go wrong.

Bread Head is a nice sandwich shop with a cute and inviting ambiance. The service was quick and efficient, and the gentleman working the floor—bussing tables and checking on guests—was particularly friendly and attentive. I ordered the turkey pesto half sandwich, which was good. The bread was fresh, and the ingredients were of good quality. I also had the unsweetened iced tea, which was well brewed, and I liked the ice they use. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot with solid food and good service. I’d come back.

Focassia taste and texture was incredible. Sandwich pulls off the impressive dance of being filled with meat yet still crisp and refreshing

Mehhhhh, don’t love the bread and wish they served some of their sandwich combos toasted. Also the portions are out of control — ordering a half size is still a full sandwich

Tuna sandwich is too salty and too cold. Not great. El pollo loco would be a better option.

BIG TIME! Incredibly delicious and very cool, laidback vibe - particularly the eclectic gallery wall, margaritaville bathroom, and smooth merch. Highly recommend. Will be back!

I got the combo grinder which was OK. In hindsight I'd recommend a sandwich that isn't as stuffed and something made warm instead of cold meats.

The bread is very.... different. It's almost crispy/crunchy and rather thin. Not my preference. Especially if the sandwich is packed with cold meats and vinegar/oil.

I would go back and try a different sandwich like their Reuben or roast beef. Very small area inside so seating is challenging especially on busy weekends.

I got my food fairly fast. Maybe 5 minutes. Costs were reasonable considering serving size and location.

I tried both the tuna and the turkey sandwich and neither was great and both- overwhelmingly salty. I wish I liked the sandwiches but they were salty to the point of being inedible. Also, the lettuce ratio is out of control and makes it a complete mess to consume.
I thought the saltines might be specific to the tuna salad but the turkey sandwich was just as salty, if not more so. Also, the focaccia bread that people rave about, was crusty and dry and cut the roof of my mouth.
I’m not sure why people like this place so much? I think this restaurant has received many good reviews because on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica., there are only a few good options for lunch. The restaurants on Montana are for the most part mediocre. So in that context, people are excited about a sandwich shop. But it needs improvement.
