The Brentwood Country Mart is a charming and unique destination that offers a delightful escape from the ordinary. So here's what I did the last time I visited. I indulged in a delicious avocado toast at Gracias Madre and a scoop of lavender honey ice cream from Sweet Rose Creamery. And before leaving, I always make it a point to pass by Diesel, the bookstore perfect for bookworms and bibliophiles alike. If you ever want to visit, be mindful of the potentially higher prices and parking challenges. Also parking can be tight, especially during peak hours.

The Country Mart is absolutely fabulous. Each shop is meticulously curated, and the staff in every store is polite and sincere. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of being in the post office when one employee was in the midst of an endless tirade. This bully employee berated the other with a relentless stream of infractions. Such behavior is not only abusive to the targeted employee but also creates an unpleasant atmosphere for all witnesses. I was horrified and had to leave the shop; now, I regret not speaking up. When hiring employees, their mental status and rage meter should be checked. No one should have to witness such scenes. Additionally, no employee should have to endure this treatment. The hiring process at the Country mart is spot on, but whoever is hiring for the post office needs to do a regular quality check.
The buildings were neither rustic nor barn like. This place was actually genuinely weird. Not sure if this was a pretend flash mob concept restaurant or a tapas bar that specializes in carrots.We got coffee and lemonade. Dude at the counter was very friendly and cordial. As soon as I left to get a seat, he started hitting on my wife, in a friendly and cordial manner.Coffee was on point. Lemonade seemed fresh squeezed. Place was still weird af. We we expecting something quaint and this was so bizarre.So bizarre. So bizarre. Omc be damned.

Very cute high end shopping plaza in Santa Monica. Went specifically for Sézane boutique and so didn't browse through the other stores but walked through the area. saw a small area for kids with old school coin rides, there's a toy store, book store a market with communal dining which was packed! Parking is challenging and you can get one hour free with validation. The spaces are compact so wouldn't drive a large car here and would try to visit on a weekday. Came at 11:20 and the plaza was nearly full. Thank you Jenu she was an amazing help in Sézane and it was a lovely shopping experience. They had a free embroidery event and had croissants for customers for their weekend event!
