Intrigued by its reputation for fusion cuisine and cozy ambiance, I recently embarked on a gastronomic journey to uncover the treasures hidden within.I had the chance to try their new item Kimchi Fried Rice Bowl, I was immediately transported to a realm of savory bliss. The rich umami flavors of the kimchi mingled harmoniously with the hearty goodness of the fried rice, creating a symphony of tastes that danced upon my palate. Each forkful offered a delightful contrast of textures—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—and left me craving more with every bite. The owners were two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The location is incredible. The cafe is beautiful and all of the drinks and eats were delicious! I was lucky enough to attend their “Ladies Night” event one evening and I had the best time I’ve had in a long time. There was a DJ, comedians and bites and drinks all night. I can’t wait to visit again!!

I first discovered Cafe at the Shores in 2016 through Aqua Surf School. This delicious, affordable & healthy cafe would provide lunch to over 100 kids every day during summer. I quickly developed an addiction to their pitaya smoothies, veggie burgers & their fresh and customizable pizza. You cannot call yourself a Santa Monica local without trying Cafe at the Shores. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
