Steps away from UCLA Santa Monica (just past Target) and delicious! The coffee was literally one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever. The sandwich was equally fabulous. Many other things I would have tried but grabbed my room key instead of CC thankfully I had some cash on me. Highly recommend!

Owner was very rude. I never leave negative reviews but this really rubbed me the wrong way. Don’t support this business, there are plenty of other small business coffee shops in Santa Monica where people are friendly and customers are treated with respect.

This place will be out of business before 2025. I had a call I had to get on right away upon entering the cafe so got on the zoom because it was a time-sensitive thing, I saw a big ugly signs saying there was no Wi-fi so I ran it off my own wi-fi, within a few seconds the wizened white lady named in a lot of negative reviews stomped over a scowling bring that there was no Zoom meetings in the cafe. I said okay I'm done shortly and I'll order. I spoke more quietly for a minute or two and I was done. The other customers didn't even notice me speaking. Went to go order in line and gave up because she was taking an astronomically long time to make a simple order, so sat down, I noticed there were also ugly signs saying there was no bathroom. She took forever to get done with the order, then someone else walked in and walked up to order and I said excuse me I have been waiting for a while, to the new customer. Menopause the farcical screamed that I had to leav the cafe. The furniture in uncomfortable in too low like made for a child. I've had the bear latte before which was okay. croissant before which was not memorable so it did not make it into my roster of the high quality croissants in the area

Gracious host, great variety of coffee, pastry and sandwich choices for sit-in or takeout. Lots of treats to bring to your friends as well. Never ever rushed.

My daughter and I used to come here frequently for a coffee and croissant. This last time, the owner felt the need to express how much she values her furniture, and if my daughter continues to use the furniture they will eventually get ruined. The furniture is a bunch of metal chairs and two couches. I am no connoisseur of furniture, but have seen nicer furniture at Denny’s. My daughter was really not doing anything to ruin it either. The owner was probably within her rights to express her interest in preserving of her furniture, but it left a bad taste for me.
Kid-friendliness: This place is not kid friendly.
