Cozy, inviting, and a great spot to chill or get some work done! The chai latte was excellent—perfectly spiced and not too sweet. The vibe here is super relaxed, and the baristas, Philip and Jacob, definitely add to the experience with their friendly energy. Just a heads-up: there’s no bathroom on-site, but you can walk a little bit to find one nearby. Otherwise, a solid go-to café for good drinks and a great atmosphere!

This place almost immediately became my favorite Café on the west side. They have the ghost town oatmilk. Their chai is incredible, and the service makes you want to come back just to say “Hi”. 10 stars!
Easy to give 5 stars to Cafe Ruisseau. There was a little line when my friend and I walked in and it's no wonder. The coffee drinks are so good! Didn't try the food, but the bagels and the croissants looked delicious. Plenty of seating in the bright and roomy space. The best part of the experience might be the service. The staff is friendly and efficient. They seem to understand that a smile goes a long way in the morning, especially before you've had your coffee. Happy to recommend!

Generous and tasty egg sandwich, very fresh. But I wasn't too sure about the tiramisu protein kind of dessert I had afterwards. It tasted rather unusual and I wasn't massively keen on it. Wouldn't mind returning if I'm in the area though.

The customer service by Tiffany is outstanding, always greeting you with a warm smile and remembers everyone name. If you’re looking for a coffee shop that has great people like Tiffany making amazing coffee and they play great music which makes it easy to work, this is the place for you!

The young girl at the bar was upset and rude, i came for a simple coffee, not even hot, have to ask for another one, waiting 5 minutes and as French this is the worst croissant I ever had
Please be advised that Cafe Ruisseau doesn’t have a restroom. And if you ask an employee about the restroom you may receive a hostile response. That was my experience anyway.
After finishing my coffee I noticed that there was really nowhere a restroom could be found in the cafe. I perused some online reviews and read that there was no restroom but one was available nearby, and in one review the owner wrote “We are always happy to walk you over to the bathrooms”.
So I asked a staff member where the restroom was. She pointed over my shoulder and said “there’s one down the block over there”. I asked “How far is it?” which was apparently all it took to set her off because she frowned and said “It’s at Tiato” to which I replied “How far is that?” and at that point I think she was done with customer service because she said “I don’t know it’s right over there”. Which wasn't very happy or helpful but I ventured in that direction only to find that Tiato (restaurant) was closed.
I went back and mentioned that Tiato was closed and asked if Cafe Ruisseau had a restroom. She replied that they don’t have a restroom. I said I read that the owner wrote “We are always happy to walk you over to the bathrooms”. She replied that doesn’t apply when they’re busy. She ended by saying “I think there’s a McDonald’s down the street”. Ok then.
Maybe customers can deal with a coffee shop that has no restroom, but getting attitude for asking about it? That’s not good.
