Was in the area and randomly stumbled upon this wonderful place. The service was very friendly, the decor was minimal and aesthetic; there was good area to get work done. They were very creative with the names of their roasted coffees and their merch was cool too! The coffee was DELISH. I got the Honey Vanilla Latte in size medium for $6.75 which is the usual nowadays in LA area & it did NOT disappoint. I drank it so fast and it tasted so authentic, I will definitely be back for more!

moved into the neighborhood and this is the best coffee shop!! only a 3 minute walk from me. delicious food, great coffee, lovely staff. put a smiley face on my latte!!! a little expensive but I don't mind as I only go once in a while

I can NOT say enough good things about Cafe Ruisseau and their ownership team. An incredible husband and wife team who include their adult children in the business. We used their services during a 4 day conference on UCLA campus, for beverage and pastry services. Not only were they timely in delivery and set up but their willingness to drive multiple times a day to restock and refresh beverages and pastries was BEYOND accommodating. I am deeply grateful for their hard work and their deep rooted kindness. There were so many changes leading up to the event (even within a week) and there was never a foul word, never a sigh of frustration, or even a glimmer of negativity (even when they received a parking ticket through no fault of their own-which we are reimbursing them for). The cold brew and the organic lemonade were the hit of our event, but everything was fresh, refreshing, and the coffee was perfectly brewed (hot and cold). I am a coffee junkie and I was extremely satisfied! Do yourself a favor and hire Cafe Ruisseau for your catering needs. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

I have been to this coffee shop 3 times. They have really good breakfast options - I got a vegan chia seed cup the other day and it was really, really good (I'm not even vegan!). Their croissants are delicious and best of all, the dirty chai latte I got each time has been phenomenal. I will visit again next time I'm in the area.

Car broke down. Decided to take a walk. Stumbled on Cafe Ruisseau. What a lovely find. Open, clean space. Art on the walls. Good coffee, great people behind the counter, and the sandwich was huge. Will definitely be back.

Ordered a iced dirty chai and it was bomb! You can taste the real spices, not overly sugary chai concentrate that a lot of shops use. This cafe has a great vibe to work or study, especially if you don't want someplace super loud or crowded -- I loved getting work done with their chill r&b playlist playing in the background :) Only downsides are that there is no bathroom or outlets (from where I sat). Such a hidden gem in west LA!

Easily my favorite Santa Monica coffee shop. Wonderful, kind staff, high quality drinks and pastries. It's nestled on the corner of a nice office building and the interior of the cafe has a nice ambiance. I will be a repeat customer (easy, as I live four blocks away). Well worth giving them your business!
Fantastic coffee, ambiance and service. :) I got the cookie butter oat milk latte and my sister got an iced honey lavender latte , which were both delicious! Will definitely be back again.

Just discovered this great coffee shop! They have Wi-Fi and everyone is super friendly. I love how they don't charge extra for oat milk. The owner doesn't think you should penalize people who are lactose intolerant.
