It was way overpriced without any reason. I go to a lot of expensive restaurants but dinner for 4 without drinks should not cost 700. Also I have not been to any restutant that automatically add 20% service charge for 4 people.
What an enjoyable dinner at Capo. To be sure it is a costly night out, but the quality of the food and service more than makes up for it! We particularly appreciated the outstanding service from Max, the Sommelier, who demonstrated all the best traits of excellence one expects from an old school fine dining experience. Capo is a standout in Los Angeles, if you want a taste of the best of Europe, locally and you grew up with certain expectations of how restaurants of true quality...
This was our first time at Capo. The food was outstanding and the service was wonderful. What put a bad taste in our mouth was putting on the menu “20% service charge automatically added so we can give our staff a living wage”. Do you mean to tell me that when people are paying $300 a head for a meal, you cant afford to give your staff a living wage? Just pay them properly.
