I ordered the cha cha chicken with mild sauce and was quickly corrected by the cashier that I should get the “mixed,” so I could experience the flavor, and I’m glad I listened. It wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy and was yummy. The chicken was melting off the bone and in my mouth, incredible texture. The sides balanced the jerk chicken well and was the perfect serving size. I also got one veggie enchilada to try (especially having the mango sauce on it). It was spot-on satisfying. I asked for a to-go box right when I ordered, just knowing I couldn’t finish all the food. I finished all of it and returned the to-go box, it’s that amazing. I also got the watermelon agua fresca, it was extremely refreshing and not too sweet. Highly recommend trying this Caribbean restaurant that’s only a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach. Sweet servers, nice atmosphere, and good outside seating area, too.

Good but the Jerk sauce was very light, needed another Tablespoon but I guess they need to save $$$
No gas in the heater. So was cold!The table was dirty, I had to clean it to sit at it.Table was wobbly, so I used the sane tissues that I cleaned table with to balance it.Jerk wings were fried in batter! I'm british Jamaican that is not jerk!Seemed understaffed!Prawns were nice as were the rice and plantain, even if a bit on the cold side.For what I got it deffo was not worth the price.Disappointing all over!! I was excited about eating some good Carribean food whilst on LA.

Awesome local place for some good quality food. If you like it spicy this is your place. The 1/2 cha cha chicken was tasty, and the spicy black pepper shrimp was bomb dot com.
This was the worst carribean spot I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t call it that. It’s inspired by carribean food. Watered down, lackluster, waste of money. I’d rather have a red baron frozen pizza and have money left over. I was hoping that the banana pudding would some how redeem the experience at least a little. This is nice for how I really feel about this place.

Worst Caribbean food I've ever tasted ? the kitchen is full of Mexicans and not one Jamaican or Caribbean person in site. LA area is known for knockoff food cultures like Louisiana Chicken is operated by Asians lol. Whenever you're in LA or LA county, just eat Mexican or Asian food because everything else is experimental. A lot of California residents will tell you that it's good because they've never been to a real Jamaican or Caribbean restaurant outside of California. Beautiful little atmosphere, though
