We came for the NYE experience, and the food and service were very good, but for the special new years event booking for over $300, we felt that there should have been a glass of champagne or something to commemorate new years, but midnight was a lackluster event without any alcohol to cheers with. We expected to be wowed going to a restaurant receiving Michelin star two years in a row. We were not. We started with the Greek Tomato salad, which was essentially a 1/2 a tomato with some filling. The predominance taste was an average tomato. Our server advised that this cannot be divided and when we saw it, it was clear why. For the main dish I had the Brandt Beefeye of Rib Eye. The restaurant has an unassuming front. When you walk in, the ambiance just pops. Food was amazing except the Dover sole was too heavy due to the butter sauce. The tomato soup and prawns were amazing and the dessert selection outstanding
