Wonderful experience at Citrin for Dine LA! Terrific food and Nathan our waiter and support staff were affable an on point. We came early and sat in the outside patio, which was lovely. All the dishes were interestingly complex and beautifully presented. We did the wine paring as well, which was worth the up charge and added to the experience. It’s so nice to go to a Resturant where the staff is well trained and knows the menu.
Citrin is a Michelin restaurant that serves elevated american style fare. I found it to be on the low end of a Michelin experience. The dining area is very average and service was just okay compared to other Michelin level places in other parts of the country / globe. The menu was nice and the food was well prepared but plating wasn't particularly innovative. This is review should be taken in context - this is a 4 out of 5 star Michelin experience, but obviously the food...
