I don't understand how a place can be labeled a coffee shop but have terrible coffee. Super watered down and expensive

This is my go-to restaurant when I'm in the mood for Huevos Rancheros as their's can't be beat. My husband tries different breakfast dishes and has always been happy with whatever he's ordered but I can't be bribed to NOT get Cora's Huevos Rancheros since this always satisfies my craving :) The service is always good, the wait staff makes me feel comfortable and at-home, and I have nothing to complain about.

Way too expensive- I had to pay a meter as parking lot very tiny...ordered coffee for one, orange juice for one, tap water y ers, eggs toast potato and one pancake each- plain pancake= $77; $85 with tip. Never again! Too expensive for me.

Update: Originally my review was 5 stars but I soon realized afterwards that my decaf coffee was not decaf. I am very sensitive to caffeine. I asked if they had decaf and they said yes but it doesn't seem that way. Based on other reviews it's not the first time this mistake has been made. If you're like me definitely double check before drinking! Original review: I've been wanting to check out this beachside coffee shop for quite a while since I always pass by on bike rides. The staff greeted me and were super friendly. I came 30 min before closing but they were still cooking up meals and since I had my bike with me I opted for a croissant and coffee to-go. The croissant was warmed up for me and very buttery and flaky!! The coffee was the perfect amount of sweetness - I ordered a decaf vanilla latte. Their patio is super nice if you want to dine in. It is covered and has a cute design. Prices are higher than expected but probably because of the high rent for the area!! I have nothing bad to say! It was a great experience and I'd love to come back to have a hot meal!!

Ricardo was an amazing waiter! He gave great recommendations and service. They have lattes, coffees, and any type of breakfast food you could want. I got the bruschetta poached egg with prosciutto and it was Devine.

This place was all outside seating and it was cold today. The fresh squeeze orange juice and fresh made berries jam were very good and went well with my breakfast. They were starting to get busy so we got there early enough to get out the way as people started coming in droves. The gentleman serving was super nice and eloquently described all the dishes we asked about.

Service was lousy. Took over 30 minutes for our food and when I got it, this was the unimpressive $20 pancake stack I got. A far reach from what they advertised online that their OJ blueberry pancakes looked like. I swear I've had better at Denny's at below half that cost. Waiter only ever checked on us once towards the point we were ready to go. Never refilled our waters which were gone by the time we even got our food. Got the check and saw how ridiculous the prices were. I'm someone who frequents touristy areas often but this place was a rip off. Should've gone somewhere with an actual beach view at that price. Will know better next time and hopefully save a few from falling for the same.

I'm not sure if you can still order from the counter. It didn't look like it when I was there, but I might be wrong. Anyway, they do offer full table service. Seating is in a tent structure in the parking lot, which made me a bit nervous with cars backing up so close to it. Service was slow. Coffee was barely warm by the time it arrived. The food was OK. The fresh baked English muffin was the best part of mine. They gave us an extra pastry with our order which was nice.

My family and I came here for breakfast. The food was so fresh and delicious…we couldn’t stop eating. Mouth watering and I wish I had endless room in my belly lolI ordered the turkey breakfast plate. My husband had egg white shiitake plate and my daughter ordered the pancakes with fruit.Coffee was delicious and well. Will be back again!
