This was a good spot for a light lunch on a sunny afternoon. We tried the trio and received the halibut, rockfish, and striped bass. The flavors paired with the halibut were light and refreshing. The rockfish was our favorite - great texture and flavor. The housemade za'atar blend paired with the striped bass was tasty but unfortunately too salty. I think I would've really enjoyed it if there was less salt. Also ordered the vegan caesar and loved it! Delicious dressing and the furikake on top was a great touch.

This place is a gem! Some of the freshest and best veggies and seafood in the entire city. Great wine selection. The crudos were all 10/10. The tasting menu is an amazing deal.

Love the outdoor seating and the crudo we had was phenomenal. I can't wait to come back during the summer to enjoy the sun and try more crudos! The tuna toast was good and so different than anything I've ever had before, however the star of the show is the crudo with the yuzu sauce. I'll be returning for that. Oysters were beautifully presented but nothing spectacular so I'd pass on them.

Very cute smaller seafood spot! The crudo was good quality, I was just lacking flavor to me. I'm fairly new to the raw scene so I may need more flavors to balance out the texture. Super friendly staff and very unique menu!

Wanted few small plates, but ended up leaving stuffed! All of the crudos we ordered tasted so fresh. The chef actually took out a whole kanpachi just so she can serve more guests! After four courses of refreshing crudo, we finished with squid ink rice- creamy! It is definitely one of my favorites now. The outside seating had heaters and had a really cozy vibe. I went there with my long term girlfriend, but this would make it a great first date spot. Service? Excellent!

Crudo e Nudo is a tiny fish "bar" serving humble-looking dishes that are packed with elegance and finesse. The abalone changed my life. ? The menu changes based on availability. Wine pairings are perfect. Service is delightful, although it is a small staff so be patient during busy hours. We would have ordered more, had we not needed to save room for our second dinner at their sister restaurant.

Recently went at the recommendation of a friend and loved everything we had! We ended up getting the Neptune's Flight tasting menu as it was our first time and figured it was a good way to sample their offerings. The tuna tartare toast was probably my favorite of the courses, but I was also very surprised by how much I loved the caesar salad. Service was great, but we happened to somehow come on an oddly quiet Saturday night so I can't comment on how our experience would've been like on a typically busy dinner time. We were fortunate that they offered to seat me and my friend indoors as it was extremely windy. All in all, had a pleasant and delicious time. Definitely planning a return visit in the future!

Absolutely my Santa Monica favorite until the day I die and begin haunting it!I went for my birthday this past weekend expecting a great meal and leaving with an even greater experience. The employees were WAY kinder about our occasion than they needed to be, they were so helpful and sweet. Each item was plated or poured with care and their knowledge on each was impressive. Between the incredible crudo, fantastic wine selections, and astonishing employees-- one of my favorite dinners e-v-e-r.(And sustainable/ethical to boot!)

We reserved a table here for a romantic evening out. My husband and I have worked in hospitality in Los Angeles for over 20 years, and we heard good things about the crudo here and expected minimal ambience. Upon arrival, the hostess was talking to us with her back to us while was wiping off items from the chalk board we were to order from. When we asked her about their dishes and current selection she left it at "everything is good." with no further information. We were sat outside next tot the drink cart with no barrier between us and sidewalk, which made for constant commotion behind my head and the constant sidewalk noise (it's next to Jameson Bar and there's lot of jovial drunk people), and though the place was not busy, we were asked not to move when we tried. The only red wine they had available was a refrigerated Cabernet they served in water glasses, but we ordered it anyhow as we knew this place was all about the fish. Our server let us know most people get about 3 plates each (most are $25), so with wine ($20 a glass) we were looking at this being a $200+ evening next to a drink cart on a sidewalk patio. They finally sat a couple next to us, inches away (there were lots of tables open, but we had one of the last working heat lamps, so they sat them inches from us to share the heat), and at that point we just looked at each other and decided to settle our bill and go else where. We go out to eat a lot, andThe server did ask us if anything was wrong, and when my husband said "this wasn't what we were expecting", she just silently rang him up for the wine and water, with no concerns or questions about what could have been better. Perhaps she understood why, but it's good to always seem concerned about a customer's experience.Having grown up in Los Angeles, I don't care for the notion that (purportedly) great food means you can have 0 ambience and disinterested staff. Some people find this appealing and "exclusive", but I don't. I realize they can only do so much about their patio, but being friendly, or informative about their menu would have certainly gotten us to stay and try it out. I usually don't like when reviews are left by people who have not tried the food, but we had plenty of an experience before getting a chance to order. There are so many great, sustainable seafood restaurants who offer comfortable seating and informed servers in Santa Monica, let alone Los Angeles.

Food was really great with good quality ingredients, but not a great deal price/quality. Service was okay and friendly but we were there at a busy hour. For a restaurant that is at a higher price range, I would expect to feel not rushed and give people more time to enjoy their food. All in all a good experience :)
