Their matcha latte is truly exceptional - creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced with a vibrant, earthy flavor that stands out. You can tell they use high-quality matcha, which makes all the difference. The cafe itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a modern vibe that's perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The staff is also very friendly. Demitasse is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a quality matcha latte or explore unique, expertly crafted drinks!

I love this cafe. Their pastries and coffee are so delicious. Everything tastes very fresh. The ham and cheese croissant was great. My boyfriend enjoyed the Kyoto coffee and said it was very strong. No complaints on his end. The atmosphere is very laid back and welcoming.

This is my favorite local spot to pick up beans. Usually a decent selection of single source beans in stock—3 or 4 to choose from. These are top notch roasts with flavor profiles rivaling beans from other “blue” purveyors at half the cost. They have great deals the more you buy. And every time I buy that hand me 3 or 4 cards for free espresso drinks and offer me one at time of purchase. Such a great little shop! And they have amazing pastries and good music.

I really enjoyed minty latte here. (forgot the exact menu name) I don't usually enjoy minty things in general at all, but it went pretty well with lightly sweetened latte, so it was quite pleasant experience. However, I felt like Kyoto (one of coffee menu) was way too sour than what I can enjoy.

Inside is quite cute so might be nice to sit down and chill, although number of seats are quite limited so it could be challenging to grab a seat depending on what time it is.

We found this place by searching for a coffee shop while visiting Santa Monica Pier. It had good ratings so we decided this was the place to visit.

When you walk in, there is a Kyoto iced coffee contraption which is dripping ice water one drop at a time to make the iced coffee. I didn’t try it, but I’d like to.

The Cappuccino was great and very strong which is exactly how I like it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and we sat outside. We had no complaints at all about this place and recommend it.

Update: their prices are crazy. $4.50 for just espresso!! Probably highest I've ever seen. In comparison, Espresso Cielo down the road is $3.75, so I will always go there instead.

Solid espresso.
However, their beans need better quality control. Every bag of coffee I buy here contains at least one super hard unroasted bean that gets stuck in my burr grinder and is a pain to extract.

Very good coffee, friendly service, and indoor and outdoor opportunities to sit. They have a wide range of different hot and cold beverage options , and some of them we tried, and they were really good.

I am a huge coffee nerd and I confirm the espresso here is fire. Had it separately from the ice cream lmao
