Hadn't been there for years, forgot it existed, the renembered their excellent, unpretentious refried beans, rice , and chili rellano, said what the hell, let's see how it is. It was crowded, busy, friendly, noisy and really delicious and comfortable. Unpretentitious, sure, but when you're in the mood for Mexican food it's the real deal.

Really Authentic atmoshere delicate flavor food i ordered the chicken enchilada which was all white meat shredded with colorful tortillas shredded black beans and rice beautiful presentation --- i had parked in the side lot to try to avoid the 9.50 valet charge after lunch i was told it only for valet and was blocked in -- the valet guy told me i had to pay --ok ----i did just to get out --im reallly tired of Sants Monica and the tight parking situation every single place you go!!! the valetguy was not nice either ..the food is better at Tacos Por Favor---but the Atmoshere and beautiful bar are what you pay for here......i personally cant stand to valet park and consider it a waste of money....
The bartender was so kind and the service was so fast. The lunch special was great. Great food and prices. Highly recommend

One of our standby restaurants. Dependably good food, fair price point, great service. It’s been here forever and looks the part. The outdoor dining is the better option. The management is doing something right with staff - they all seem happy and so service is excellent. Also since they are happy they stay on. You can count on seeing familiar faces if you are a regular.
