Beautiful, delicious dinner. Food was excellent! I prefer it here for dinner because it is less noisy than lunchtime.
Farmshop is always outstanding. From the moment you arrive, to the service and delicious food.
They have delicious ready to go meals. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were very good!
The place can't quite shake off its precious, self congratulatory vibe. Brentwood “Country” Mart, where the restaurant resides, is a pretentious name for the complex, as is “Farm.” There's a certain phoniness hanging over the place. Food was pretty good, but I can't imagine why the otherwise very good mushroom pasta was drowned in a watery foam. Gratuitous foam is by now pretty dated. Watered pasta is not a great idea. The mandatory 4% “small business fee” is odd at best. Given the already eye-watering prices and prosperous clientele, no one is going to be distressed if the 4% is just factored into slightly higher menu prices. Our waiter was excellent. Ditto the drinks. Probably our last visit; so many better choices all over town.
Always such a creative delicious menu. And lovely service! I love it here. The noise level is difficult but honestly, it's that way in restaurants all over. I just don't love that anywhere, but that's not specific to farmshop. I love the restaurant! Great time!
Fresh delicious food and great service. Ate here midweek when we were in Palisades for business. They accommodated us well.
My husband and I popped in for a NYE lunch and we were told to wait even though we had a reservation and there were tables open. Then when we were served there was a hair in my meal. The staff did not offer to comp the meal or a drink or anything. I was surprised that a restaurant that charges as much as they do for a lunch wasn't a little more accomodating after serving me a bowl of mussels with hair in it... expected better service from Farmshop :/
As usual, the food was terrific and the vibe so alive and festive. The chicken salad is the best I have ever tasted. The chicken was moist and tender and the greens fresh and delicious! Farmshop is ALWAYS a neighborhood "go to." Thank you!

Such a cute little place! We ate dinner at the Taco shop there and it was delicious 😋
This is our favorite place to go on Sundays for brunch after church. The vibe is so great. The people who work there are always more than accommodating and lovely.
The service during the lunch was outstanding. It came to the end. When we had just ordered coffee. We had been at the restaurant for exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes. The hostess asked us to leave - as she needed to "turn the table". We had ordered appetizers, mains, and coffee. She asked us twice. We had a reservation - and when we had gotten there it was not busy!
Octopus on the menu!!!?? Horrific!
These are highly intelligent creatures that should not be on ANY menu.
As to the food at lunch today. I honestly almost got up to leave when I saw the octopus but had a friend who wanted to stay.
Ordered the Jidori Chicken which was served with whole lettuce hearts and a little grated cheese. The whole thing while not bad was unsatisfying.I have eaten the Jidori chicken many times for dinner up north and loved it. Fresh mint tea at end of lunch lovely.
I have eaten dozens of times at the Marin Farmshop and felt the food and service at the LA location not as good.
Fun place to eat and shop
