Thank you so much farmshop!!! Please know your kindness meant a lot to all of us after the palisades fire. We we're waiting in line to receive an escort back into the Pacific palisades following the fire! This line was at least 300 cars long. People had been waiting in it since early yesterday, desperately hoping to see if they still had a home following the mandatory evacuation. There was a lot of collective heartache going around, but also two gentleman from Farmshop, carrying baskets full of banana bread. They stopped by every car, giving each occupant a hearty slice of freshly baked banana bread. My family just inhaled this stuff! Taking a bite, all of us commented how much it tasted like the banana bread grandma use to make. I don't know if you were using the same recipe or you both baked that bread with love, but talk about soul food! It didn't just feed our bellies, it fed our hearts. A person doesn't easily forget the grace and goodness they're given when engulfed in grief, and Ill never forget the first time i took a bite of Farmshop's banana bread!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Hanging out with Gweneth
Really fantastic Smoked Fishes platter and too much to finish there. Same with the massive brioche toast in the French style; one left behind each by two diners. Great coffee and looking forward to trying other plates soon.
This is for the bakery. I specifically asked if their pastries were fresh, and the cashier said they make them in the mornings. The Italian danish I bought was incredibly stale—very unlikely that it was made the same day. Flavor was fine, but they lied to my face. Cool cool cool.
Great place with lots of shops
The highlight is the “food court” in the inner courtyard and the market.
Not cheap, but absolutely recommended!
Inconsistent, Sloppy and Entitled Hosting Experience – Weekdays vs. Weekends
My wife and I have been loyal patrons of this restaurant for years, and the host during the weekdays has always been exceptional—friendly, professional, and efficient. Unfortunately, the weekend hosting staff during the day is a completely different story.
On a recent daytime visit, despite having a reservation, my wife and I were left waiting while the weekend hosts seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to guests. To make matters worse, a blonde-haired girl, who I assume is a manager, came over to chat with the hosts at the check-in. She was completely in her own world and extremely dismissive of the situation. Her attitude only made the disorganized and indifferent atmosphere from the hosting team worse.
Why do they have such an entitled attitude, was what I heard another guest say in the same situation as us. That's a good question, why?
Many friends of ours have also shared their disappointment with the weekend daytime service, having experienced similar issues. On this occasion, we even saw other guests, who arrived leave out of frustration.
The service during the week is consistently excellent, but the weekend daytime experience is shockingly inconsistent. Until the weekend staff, including management, improves, my wife and I will not be returning, and we will recommend our friends do the same, although that seems to be already happening automatically.
Went here for the first time. It's a restaurant inside of a market. The food was so delicious! Wonderful and creative. Great wines. The food items that they sell in the market would make many a gourmet cook very happy. Love this place!
The quinoa salad was perfect, with herbs, citrus, and plenty of avocado. Carrot cake was like no other- dense, spicy, beautifully presented. Even the bread was superb, accompanied by an emerald olive oil. Service was with a smile, and the room was very energetic.
Food was pricey but nicely prepared. Service was friendly and efficient. Parking was ample and convenient for an early lunch but it could be more difficult during busy meal times. The key negative to the experience was a very high noise level that was both unpleasant and physically painful.
Coming from out of California - must try the roasted apples & goat cheese toast. Still thinking about those apples 2 weeks later.
Ordered the crab pasta which also came with a very satisfying amount of crab, and the pasta cooked to a very melo, calm and mindful level of al-dente.
Coffee is also very nicely priced for such a fine establishment!

This is a nice ambiance. Food not bad.
Top breakfast and brunch in town. Lunch has solid dishes, everything is source from local farms. Love the ambience of the place.
We have been to Farmshop dozens of times, and at least a dozen times just for the Sunday fried chicken dinner. Although the Sunday fried chicken dinner has been symbolically upgraded on OpenTable by rebranding it as the "Chicken DInner Experience," the dinner itself has been seriously downgraded since the pre-COVID days. Pre-COVID, the chicken dinner was pris fixe for 2 people and included a generous salad with excellent dressing, a big plate of fried chicken (so much that we always took a few pieces home with us), a side vegetable, and a choice of desserts. Nowadays prices of course have gone up for everything at Farmshop (like everywhere else), but in the case of the fried chicken dinner you get a lot less for your money. Now there is no starter salad . You get a barely adequate helping of fried chicken for 2 people (we had none left to take home), a side dish of some kind of slaw, and some fruit pieces in a bowl. No dessert, that had to be ordered separately. Needless to say we were quite disappointed and will not bother with the Farmshop Sunday Fried Chicken Dinner again.
Great food
Great drinks
Great people
As always, had a great time at Farm Shop. Kind hostesses -- even though our table was really late, they kept us informed and were great. Fantastic server, tasty food, wonderful way to spend a couple of hours with family. They made a mistake on a cocktail and immediately brought another comped the error, and left them both. Nice. Their fresh peach/goat cheese app was wonderful, and even though a bunch of us had their basic breakfast, everything was super tasty. Will be back...
