The service during the lunch was outstanding. It came to the end. When we had just ordered coffee. We had been at the restaurant for exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes. The hostess asked us to leave - as she needed to "turn the table". We had ordered appetizers, mains, and coffee. She asked us twice. We had a reservation - and when we had gotten there it was not busy!

We walked in and put our name down, they quoted us 30-40 minutes but it wound up being over an hour…we would have just gone somewhere else if I knew it would take so long.

Food overall very good, some inventive and thoughtful flavor combinations. The octopus ceviche is fantastic. Some minor quibbles…the crackers with the avocado hummus could be lighter, these were quite hard. Steak salad seemed to be a riff on a Vietnamese steak salad, in that case the seasoning...

I eat at Farmshop whenever I travel to Los Angeles. Their breakfast service is excellent. The food and options are delicious and the morning staff are friendly and kind. It's also a scene with all the local Lululemon ladies meeting for skinny lattes and green juices ! I love it and coming in from New York it optimizes Los Angeles / Brentwood / Santa Monica lifestyle in the beautiful Brentwood Fsrmers market.
