I don’t typically write negative reviews, but the service I received this morning was very disappointing. I initially tried to order breakfast burritos to go from the coffee café, but due to dietary restrictions, I needed a few simple modifications. I was directed to FIG Restaurant, where I was told they could accommodate my request since the coffee café burritos are pre-made.
Unfortunately, my experience there fell far short of expectations. The bartender who assisted me made several snarky and unprofessional comments about my order and was not polite throughout the interaction. I want to emphasize that I was only requesting the removal of certain ingredients—not asking for anything off-menu or unreasonable.
What was most concerning, however, was that after taking my order, the bartender proceeded to speak negatively about me to other staff members within earshot, seemingly assuming I couldn’t hear him. This was both uncomfortable and inappropriate.
We have stayed at many Fairmont properties and have always associated the brand with a high standard of service, which made this experience particularly disappointing. I hope management is able to identify the employee involved and address this issue appropriately.
For reference, this occurred on 02/22 at approximately 8:30 AM.

Great place for delicious breakfast, after a good brisk morning walk.
I had a fresh omelet, with mushrooms, onions and cheese. I added fresh toasted slices of sourdough bread and a cup of Americano coffee (stronger than regular coffee). Not a long wait, comfortable seating, attentive server, made it a complete pleasant meal.

I used to love the happy hour here, but their new menu sucks. The new spritz is sickeningly sweet and they wouldn’t give me a regular Aperol spritz for the happy hour price. The sides with the salmon were dry and flavorless - so disappointing. Change your menu back.

Our food was exceptional. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and had generous portions and was perfectly made. The ricotta lemon pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. Our service from being greeted by the host to our waiter was impeccable.

Service was probably some of worst. Look its holidays and they seemed understaffed so I had a lot of empathy. But we asked for one of our dishes 4 times and it never showed and they had it on the bill and had to ask to have it removed. Most restaurants would have said sorry and given discount on bill but they just recommended I come back at slower time ? I don’t know man, pretty low bar for service and I’m pretty understanding person

Atmosphere is great. Beautiful and lively. Came in with my food adventurous teenage kids for Xmas eve dinner. Our main server got sat with a lot of tables after we ordered but she was very pleasant and doing her best. Other support wait staff was great. Food was a 50/50 mix of great and not so great. My son had the Gnudi which was simple and delicious. Although looked more like a spring dish based on the veggies. burratta Perwimmon salad was excellent. Calamari was fine but a little over cook and underwhelming for a restaurant of this quality. I was excited about the beef tartare but it was incredibly bland and under seasoned. I did not taste any of the usual ingredients, such as mustard, Worcestershire, pickles, or capers, and an egg yolk to tie it all together. Kitchen - please taste your tartare

A small cup of cappuccino that’s half foam for $12 with mandatory tip is a total rip off.
The King Salmon and Fresh Mussels were definite highlights and never disappoint, truly one of a kind.. 🥂👌 Highly recommend for a relaxing and delicious meal! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a lovely place to visit. They have amazing food my favorite dish is their Lamb Bolognese, and their risotto with jumbo shrimp, amazing desserts too, and not to mention a great selection of wine. The atmosphere is my favorite especially for dinner so cozy and love the pool view. The service is impeccable Jordan is their best server he is so attentive, friendly, and gives the best guest experience always on top of everything. Oh they are very dog friendly and that's always a huge plus in my book.

I’ve been a regular at Fig’s happy hour for a long time, but I was disappointed to learn about their new tipping policy. Guests are now asked to tip on the full menu price rather than the discounted happy hour total, and tax is being calculated on both the happy hour amount plus the full service charge tip. It feels misleading and unfair, especially for loyal customers. I now no longer go several times a month, but maybe once a year and now, maybe I will no longer be a patron.
