Great neighborhood restaurant tucked away in Santa Monica Canyon. Delicious pastas, I prefer smaller portions with fantastic flavor than the opposite, Baldi delivers on the former. There is no pretense, no extras, just a classic Italian restaurant with solid dishes and perhaps a celebrity tucked away at a table somewhere in the candlelit room. Add this to your regular rotation.

The pasta and the calamari were outstanding, truly the highlights of the meal - the breaded veal chop -however, was a little under seasoned, but overall it was very satisfying dining experience ..😊😊

While the appetizers (fried zucchini flowers and fish carpaccio) lacked strong flavors and were just okay, the main dishes knocked out it of the ballpark. The gnocchi with a gorgonzola sauce was absolutely divine. Service was very good.
