6.5% ABV - Our latest batch of Jester King DDH IPA is out today. It's a West Coast Hazy IPA brewed with Texas-grown malted barley and wheat, flaked oats, and Idaho 7 and Mosaic Cryo hops. It was fermented with California Ale yeast and dry hopped with more Mosaic Cryo and Citra Cryo.
Dobis (Hazy Pale Ale) - Cellarmaker Brewing Company
5.7% ABV - Dobis is our 100% Citra hopped pale ale that starts with lots of Scottish Golden Promise malt to create a graham cracker base. Then Citra brings forth lots of pineapple, mandarin, citrus, and mango. We love Citra, it is super juicy and flavorful. Horse Tornado (Hazy IPA) - Urban Roots Brewing
7% - Horse Tornado is a new hazy IPA being released today featuring Galaxy, Riwaka and Citra hops for an over the top combo of fruity NZ Hops and our hand selected Citra. Bright tropical notes are enhanced by our expressive ale yeast for soft bodied yet intensly hopped beer. Mango, Lychee, and overripe stonefruit are abundandt and the body is soft and light from the judicious use of malted and flaked oats.

Moonset (Dark Lager) - There Does Not Exist
4.5% - Closest in relation to a Munich style Dunkel lager, Moonset is a lager bier built with various crystal and high dried malts to create a smooth malty backbone with a hint of roast, while still maintaining a crisp finish. These malts, combined with the lager yeast, lay down aromas of honey, burnt sugar, and fig. A beer best served with a full pour in our tankard glass, and paired perfectly with colder evenings, friends, and great conversation.
No Stress (Hazy DIPA) - Highland Park Brewery
8% - No Stress is our 8% ABV hazy DIPA hopped with an intense amount of Citra, Motueka, & Vic Secret hops. Pouring a vibrant orange color topped off with a white foam head. The combo of hops help produce aromas of juicy pineapple, tangerine, & overripe mango.

10.5% - Black Metal, a.k.a. Iron Sword, a.k.a. Blackened Death, a.k.a. El Martillo del Muerte, is a cruel and punishing beer fermented by the sheer force of its awesome will. Sowing The Sun (Kölsch Ale) - There Does Not Exist
5% ABV - Sowing The Sun is brewed with an heirloom spring pilsner malt and hopped with Washington grown Willamette hops as well as German grown Hallertau Saphir. Fermented at low temperatures and lagered for many moons this beer is light on the palette with a crisp finish. Tasting notes of barn hay with subtle citrus and white grape aromas.

5.1% - Stranger in the Alps is something we're calling an Alpine lager-a pale lager brewed with lemon balm and fresh foraged spruce tips from Duluth.
Swimming Circles(Hazy IPA) - Vitamin Sea Brewing
6.8% - Our single hop hazy IPA saturated with Michigan Copper. Michigan Copper hops have a delightful aroma profile with notes of tropical fruit, especially passionfruit and pineapple. They also exhibit hints of citrus, specifically grapefruit and lemon.

Timbo Pils (Hoppy Pilsner) - Highland Park Brewery
5.8% - We took inspiration from both German Pilsners and West Coast IPAs for Timbo Pils. We used more German influenced hops in the kettle which gives the beer a softer bitterness and a nice floral and earthy hop base. We then used Mosaic and Citra for dry hopping to bring out the tropical west coast flavors of mango, riesling grapes, and passionfruit.
Two Moon Ritual (WC IPA) - There Does Not Exist
6.5% - Two Moon Ritual is a hybrid West Coast IPA of sorts, with one foot in the new school and one foot in the old. Quick and zippy malt character to give the kids what they want these days, but followed by some dank and resinous hop character that reminds you of the base of the pyramid that West Coast style IPAs were built on. Hopped in the brewhouse with Magnum, Simcoe, Nelson, and Strata, then blasted post fermentation with more Nelson, CTZ, Simcoe & Mosaic. This combo leads to heavy resins, reefer madness, and a touch of that diesely NZ Sauvigon Blanc.

Abel Tasman (NZ Style Pilsner) - Cellarmaker Brewing Company
5.1% - Abel Tasman National Park is located at the northernmost section of the southern island of New Zealand. During a trip to NZ in 2019, we were captivated by the park's awe-inspiring beauty. While there, we spent crucial time selecting the best hops NZ has to offer. This 100% NZ hopped pilsner is the result of that time and inspiration. Hops: Freestyle Farms grown Nelson, Riwaka, NZ Cascade, Motueka.

heavy handed makes the best burger in town. we came in santa monica for the holidays, an employee of the hotel where we were staying advised us to have lunch there and we loved it, it was simple but delicious, the perfect smash burger. we went back there several times afterwards, that’s how good it was.

My husband had tried heavy handed before I did and decided to take me after a little date gym sesh. Wow. I knew he had raved about it but Heavy Handed exceeded my expectations. Meat is flavorful and the fries are just the right amount of crispy. I’m going to say it… I’ll come here over in and out any day. I’m ready to go back for another double!

Great location, atmosphere of the place is good. Staff needs to smile more, back in kitchen doing a great job to get food done. But front staff, like I said, they need to smile. Fries and drinks are great, but burgers need some work and not worth the price. I saved some of the fries and ended up buying a double double at in n out.
