Upon harvest the coffee is fully washed and then dried in the sun.Before it arrives at Bonito for roasting, the green coffee is processed in Mexico by Royal Coffee to remove the caffeine content. Anytime I’m in Santa Monica I make a point to stop here. The food is CONSISTENTLY SO good and amazing quality. Some places are really good every now and then but this place is really so reliable —you’ll know what you get every single time. The staff is wonderful and I love the all day breakfast. What a gem. I hope it never changes.

The pastries are delicious here! They're just the right size for a small breakfast paired with their coffee, or for a sweet treat in the middle of the day. I got the pumpkin pie slice and a kouign amann tart. The pie crust was super crispy on the edges and had great pumpkin flavor without being overly sweet. The whipped cream on top was a bonus and finished off the pie so well. Kouign amann was sticky and sweet, with a nice peachy surprise in the middle. All the fruit pastries...

Huckleberry Bakery and Cafe in Santa Monica has the most delicious food in town . I highly recommend this spot . The atmosphere and interior are beautiful and it has an east coast small sea town vibe like you would find near Martha’s Vineyard … The manager Allen and the owners , and all the people there Sue ,Natalie , Pancho, Serenity , Carmen , Grace , Adam , and everyone else working there are all incredibly nice and culinarily fantastic ……
