Wonderful dining experience. The food was absolutely delightful and the service was excellent. We will return.
Our dinner at Ivy by the Shore could not have been more exceptional. Between the four of us, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious softshell crabs, swordfish, steak, and branzino. The mashed potatoes were outstanding, as was the Patz and Hall Pinot Noir. The service was impeccable--as always. I am very happy to have chosen The Ivy to celebrate my friend's birthday. She was delighted in every way.
I brought some clients here for dinner and it could not have gone better! Thank you for having us and we'll be sure to come back in the future.
Have been going there for over 30 years... nothing has changed. Still fabulous food service and ambience
Our experience was full of contrasts. The quality of the food and service were exceptional, but we felt “expressed” through the meal. One of the waitbacks collected a plate then hovered near the table as a family member took their last forkful and then whisked it away. The space is beautiful, yet the entire experience gave a touristy vibe.
The starter was very nice. But the burger was less than average. Nice service. Overall overrated from my point of view.
Great food and very friendly service. Try the crab cakes.

It had a cute Homie feel but the steak was not good, the shrimp tacos tasted like the shrimp was freezer burned, the $30 scallops came with only three pieces, they removed my drink from the table before I was finished with it forcing me to buy a whole new drink, I had to actually get up and go get the waiter three different times because we needed him for something, and then when we get the bill, they automatically added a $200 gratuity, which is more than 20% of the bill and nowhere anywhere said the amount of people we had would require that, And then we brought a birthday cake and they charge us to cut it without telling us. I understand there are certain charges at restaurants, and that’s completely fine, but they need to be transparent instead of just charging whatever they want once we get the bill. It left me feeling taken advantage of and very uneasy. Not sure I’m comfortable going to this restaurant ever again, I like to have trust in the establishments that I visit.. Especially when they took my drink I wasn’t even finished with And then when I told them I need a new drink because Someone took it before I was done They brought me a new drink and charged me for it. SMH. I just had much higher expectations.

We went there for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a quite a disappointment. Super dry turkey dinner with watered down gravy! And when I complained afterwords, they said you should have said something then. Wrong customer service specially for a long time client.
